I first visited after seeing the Dad’s Breakfast Sandwich mentioned on TikTok and decided to stop in and try it. Overall, this café is just okay. The inside is very cramped, and it can be difficult to maneuver around people to get to your table.
The Dad’s Breakfast Sandwich is named perfectly — it tastes like a simple, basic sandwich a dad would make. Unfortunately, mine was a little dry. I also ordered an iced latte, which came in a huge cup (which I appreciated), but the latte itself tasted weak. I tried a mimosa as well, and it was fine.
That said, the staff is incredibly nice, and the fellow patrons are friendly too. While I don’t feel the food quite lives up to the social media hype, the relaxed atmosphere makes you want to come back. Despite being cramped, the space feels welcoming. It has a nostalgic 90s vibe — no rush, no loud music, just people enjoying food and conversation in a small, busy space.
I’ve returned twice since my first visit. On my most recent trip, I ordered the muffaletta sandwich (photo included) and was disappointed, as it didn’t taste like a traditional muffaletta. However, I still enjoyed my visit. We easily found a table by the heater, the food arrived quickly, and everyone was kind and welcoming. Overall, it’s a cozy spot with a great atmosphere, even if the food hasn’t fully impressed me yet, I’ll still meet up with friends here 🙂

My husband went here today while I had a dress fitting, and he loved it! The atmosphere is great, after my fitting I went and sat with him while he ate his turkey sandwich and muffin! He loved it and it looked and smelled amazing, the food is not basic here which is awesome! His sandwich had some sort of pesto and apples on it, with a 9 grain bread! We will be back so I can try some of their goodies! Also the outdoor seating was nice and clean which is always great. The only thing that we would not recommend is the jolly rancher lemonade unless you LOVE sweet drinks I mean it was sooo sweet lol.

Me, my dad, and my nana came her a nice Saturday morning. My dad came her for the first time a couple days ago and was telling me about how good this place is. He brought me and he was not wrong!!! First time here and our new favorite. Lovely surroundings, very charming. Friendly and timely staff. We had best latte ever and breakfast biscuits on a whole other level. Can’t wait to try our next meal here.

The Best Café Experience in Huntsville!
The Good Company truly lives up to its name! Their baked goods are simply wonderful—always fresh and full of flavor. The coffee is fantastic, easily some of the best I’ve had in town. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot to relax or catch up with friends. The customer service is always pleasant and attentive, making you feel right at home. And as if that weren’t enough, the food is even better! Overall, it’s the best all-around café experience in Huntsville. I can’t recommend it enough!

Thankful to have stepped into this warm, relaxing, nourishing atmosphere on the chilly winter day! The Ruben and soup blended robust flavor and subtle spice perfectly. And the molasses latte! How could it be I’ve lived this many days without molasses in my coffee! I’ve only been a handful of times so far, and with each experience I’ve encountered people fully and completely engaged in each other, discussing meaningful ideas and collaborating towards solutions. The environment inspires peaceful dialogs. But what truly makes this place special is the people. Kindness greets you at the door and fills your cup to overflowing.

I ordered as part of a group order through my company. My salad looked amazing. But I didn’t get the dressing that I ordered. I ordered the Honey Dijon dressing which has amazing flavor. What I got was a large amount of oil with a small layer of balsamic in it. It ruined the whole salad for me. I hope In the future orders will be double checked. A small mistake can really make or break the quality of a meal. This was my lunch for the day and I was unable to eat it and unable to leave to have it fixed.
Usually the accuracy is pretty good. The quality isn’t always 100%. I’ve ordered a few different dishes. The hummus and veggies was very questionable. The veggies were soggy and soaked through the cardboard box they use. The grits however were amazing.

The carbs are certainly delicious! We enjoyed the unique localness of this cafe, and also took some things home. My daughter with particular taste didn’t like the egg sandwich she first ordered and opted instead for the kids grilled cheese. Most offerings are temptingly high in carbs/sugar. I went with the veggie frittata, which is also served with bread, and a delightfully sweetened butter. But that’s par for the foods that are popular for the customer base in this region. The bakery items smell wonderful and are sharable-sized.
Encountered two of my pet peeves this visit —one is being hit with a waft of marijuana just outside the door (but that’s outside of the restaurant’s control), the other is old fruit. If a place can’t offer good fruit that is still crisp (freshly washed and cut that day), don’t offer it at all. There are other options that keep better and require less prep. Fruits are expensive and you can imagine they were sooo good when they were freshly washed—so it feels like an unfortunate slight against Mother Nature when served last night’s soft blueberries, waterlogged grapes, and rubbery watermelon; it just goes to the waste bin.

If you’re looking for a restaurant that serves food made with love and care, Good Company is the place to be. Their dishes are nothing short of delicious, and you can truly taste the effort and passion that goes into every bite. I’d happily make the drive across the city from my workplace just to enjoy one of their incredible sandwiches for lunch—they’re that good!

Blu Galaxy Tea
Visited on a whim. Looking for someplace new. So delicious. Their sausage balls are ADDICTING, I’m sure the staff have a hard time not eating them! The sausage biscuit is incredible. Best one in town me thinks. Biscuit is cheddar bacon. Oatmeal was refreshing. Will be back!
