My Grandchildren Grayson and Penelope loved the Restaurant. Grayson his favorite food is Sushi. He had the California Roll with Egg Rollls. Penelope was happy with the chicken nuggets , rice & vegetables.She said it was delicious . Grandma had Steak & Chicken Hibachi. It was wonderful the steak was very tender and tasty. Both my grandchildren tasted the steak, they said it was fabulous. Grayson loved the dressing on the salad. Customer Service was Wonderful very friendly and helpful. The Christmas tree was very nice the decor is beautiful. We all thought our meals were delicious.

Had a great first experience at Gong Cafe! Was greeted and sat as soon as I entered and the waiter was so friendly. They started me off with a complimentary soup/broth that had veggies in it and it was SO delicious. Got the pan-fried Gyoza and the flavor was really good, they could’ve been pan-fried a little longer, but I like really crispy Gyoza. I was suggested to try the Chicken Yaki Soba and YALL this did not disappoint. Thought I was going to be able to take home leftovers because the portion was so massive, but it was too good to not finish in one sitting. Will definitely be returning!

1st time to try this place because of the reviews. Came here for lunch on a sunday, no waiting for seats. Service was great, the sushi was good but was disappointed with the chicken katsu. It was hard and dry, did not come with any sauce. This place is over rated!

Came in on New Year’s Day and had a sweet waitress Venny. Ordered the Spicy Beef Tataki for an appetizer and it was phenomenal. I then Ordered the Steak and Scallops Hibachi and the scallops were big and perfectly cooked. The steak again was just so delicious and perfectly seasoned and cooked. My date ordered the Beef Shoyu Ramen (see photo), and that was the best tasting & looking bowl of Ramen I’ve ever had. This place is legit and honestly it’s under priced for the quality and portion size.

What a wonderful addition Gong Cafe is to New Braunfels cuisine and culture! I am a huge fan of Asian cuisine and this cute cafe definitely hits the mark! The atmosphere is relaxing and reinforces the experience of the food. We only met one server and she was friendly and attentive. Welcome to New Braunfels via New York! The one word I would use to describe my ramen is “perfection” both in flavor and presentation. Give this place a try and let’s keep them here in new Braunfels.

A group of friends suggested this spot, and they were absolutely right. The sushi and ramen were excellent, and the service was some of the warmest I’ve experienced in New Braunfels. It genuinely felt welcoming and comfortable. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal.

Love this place, can’t wait to go back! Wish I had photos to share but it was soooo good! The sushi was absolutely phenomenal! Fresh fish, generous portions, and not too much rice on the rolls. I had a “Red Dragon” it was one of the best rolls I’ve ever eaten. The service was fantastic! Our server was so kind and sweet! Prices are fantastic as well! Lunch special was 3 rolls for $18 and they were awesome! My buddy and I spent a total of $60 and left full and we loved our food. If you’re a sushi person, you owe it to yourself to give these guys a visit.

Food is great… portions are ok, for the price tho, they’re small. I also order to go katsu orders x2 and the American ladies up there did not put in the order katsu sauces. Not even yum yum sauce we had to ask for it and when we arrive home we see they miss the katsu sauce as well. I’m sure if they’re Asians they wouldn’t be slacking up there specially on a very slow day. Also very greasy vegetables rolls. Quality is not always the best.

I had a great lunch, the food was beautifully presented and very delicious. It is worth a try 10/10. The environment is neat and clean, the owner is hospitable and the staff are attentive. This made my meal very enjoyable. I will be back soon. It is a good place worth recommending.
