Usually very good but going down hill fast. I been going there for years and never had a bad meal. Until saturday evening. I ordered the lasagna and i had never had it before. It was not good in my opinion. Nothing but noodles. Very little sauce. Very little cheese. Without even caring about how i felt, the server just started pushing her opinion at me. She said it is our lasagna just like it has always been. No matter what i said she just kept saying the same thing. I dont care how it has always been. I never ordered it before. She says i will ask the manager to take it off the bill. I said no, i ordered it so i will pay for it. 20 minutes later she returns and says the manager said no because our lasagna has never changed. Then she tops off my drink with diet coke and walks away. I was drinking sweet tea with lemon and she knew that. I did not ask for their version of lasagna to be tajen off my bill. I akso did not ask for our server to not listen to a word i said either. But a very good way to ensure that a 20+ year customer will never be back.

I’ve been eating at Gondola for 40 years. The food and service is TOP NOTCH. They have one of the best salad bars in Middle Tennessee. They offer a wide selection such a steak, pizza, pasta and sandwiches. Make sure you check their hours, because they close early during the week. Trust me, you want be disappointed.

Its sad to learn another family owned restaurant closing in our area and one that has an awesome sale bar. We need more family restaurants not the chain restaurants that are trying to take everything over. You know you will be missed!!!! Is your location sold to another restaurant already? Hopefully not another Mexican restaurant we have way to many of those already.

We are new to Lebanon and decided to visit this restaurant 4 days prior to it closing, or possibly changing ownership. There is a lot of hype on NextDoor regarding the restaurant closing and how good the food is.
We ordered the salad bar and a pizza. The salad bar ingredients were fresh but the selection was mediocre. My husband remarked on the cleanliness and great stocking of the salad bar.
The pizza was very disappointing. I agree with other reviews that said it takes like flatbread or cardboard.
I know a bad review is mute to the current owners but may possibly be beneficial to new owners, if applicable.

Let me start out by saying they have the best salad bar around. If that’s what you like you will love the one here. The food is very bland. My wife got the chicken Parmesan with Alfredo. The chicken was just a frozen chicken breast like what you would get at a fast food restaurant sandwich. Alfredo sauce is out of a bag and not fresh. The steaks are not marinaded at all so very bland. No rolls just Texas toast. The food and atmosphere are like a hospital restaurant and not a good one.

You all have certainly been a “BLESSING” to our Community, Surrounding Counties, those visiting from other States and Countries, Etc. Pizza, Salad Bar, Service, (Owners), Employees, Etc. Is/Are past a Five (5), Star Restaurant. Gondola Pizza House has been in Lebanon basically all my life . Fond memories going there when I was growing up. It`s been over 50 years . The place will always have a special place in my heart. Thank you for the Great Food and memories.
