I ordered a “pinche torta “ my dad platillo de camarón and my mom quesadilla. Food was excellent, amazing seasoning , good quality, fresh . The atmosphere is clean and the service was good they hand a person that speak English and Spanish .

The waitstaff were friendly and knowledgable.I would recommend and return to explore the menu a bit more.Thank you for considering my opinion of Gomez Restaurant and bar that also has 2 taco trucks in Belvidere IL as well.The Menudo spicy soup is only served on Sunday.The guacamole was also made to order and just perfectly prepared just in time fashion.

Great authentic Mexican food from a local family owned restaurant in the heart of Belvidere. I love getting food from their taco truck on the weekends and I was excited to hear that they opened up a restaurant in town. Now I can sit down, relax and enjoy their food all year round. Clean environment and friendly staff!
