service was great! our server was so nice and it wasn’t busy at all when we went, which was a plus. food was pretty good. I got a pulled pork sandwich with fries, and my husband got a plate with pork and sausage. the seasoned fries could’ve used more seasoning honestly, but overall a great experience! (:

Went to Goldie’s today. I ordered the beef and sausage plate. I was very disappointed with the meat because it was like they got my meat from the bottom of the pan that had too sauce. I told several people, however they did not apologize, nor did they say thank you for coming or nothing. I told my son about the experience and he says it seems they serve food that had been leftover from the previous day. He had the same experience. No more for me

Not even worth the 1 star. I’ve come several times and the atmosphere changes each time and the waitresses were walking past when I need refills but taking whole pitchers to other tables. Seems a bit racists in here to me. Food was soggy when I got it and my hamburger wasn’t even worth the money. Hell I was going to tip, but the waitresses threw that out by being rude. No one should have to wave them down to get a drink! I just thought I was tripping the first time but naw that second time was confirmation. I will not be back!

So, we were spending the day in Vicksburg and decided to give this place a go. The food is good. I held off at four stars because there was nothing outstanding however, no complaints either. My lovely bride had the country fried steak with white gravy and I had the all you can eat ribs special. The service was very fast and we had our food in front of us in record time. The ribs had a good flavor, a nice hint of smoked wood and we’re not overly dry. You have your choice of wet or dry ribs. I tried them both and, while I normally go for the dry ribs, I think the wet ones at this restaurant were better. If you stop by, be sure to try them both. The service was quick and they were very attentive, keeping our tea glasses full and inquiring at the right intervals. The coleslaw, which I tend to be very picky about, was good to go. If you are ever in vicksburg, give them a go and let us know.
