Bagels are usually pretty good but found this in my everything bagel today. Yuck. Also I try to go every Wednesday for the matzah ball soup and they either say they ran out of it or somethings broken and weren’t able to make it. I’ve been trying since last year mind you. I’m all for supporting small businesses but this should not be how a business is run!

Some of the best bagels and bagel sandwiches! It’s always a treat to stop in.

The tomato jam breakfast sandwich is truly something unique.

If you’ve never tried a tzitzel bagel, this is a great place to try one. The Goldie is also amazing – turmeric with black poppy seeds.

Whenever I come into the building, it gets pretty busy all of a sudden and the sales increase by 3% and of course, because the bagels are good but also because I am very popular Im like an everything bagel but the food is delicious.

Goldie’s is awesome. The yenta lox on a sesame bagel with plain cream cheese is my go to. It’s $13 but it’s SO GOOD.

Their vegetarian options aren’t exactly clear, but the staff are super friendly and eager to help. And as it is a bagel shop, most of the products they sell do not have meat unless you’re ordering the Lox or something like that.

I do not believe the bagels are gluten-free, and I do not believe the cream cheese is dairy-free. They rotate out cream cheese flavors and occasionally have flavors like peanut butter, but I have high hopes that they take every precaution in cleaning to make sure people with these allergies don’t get cross-contamination, considering they are a small business. But you can also inform the person at the counter and they are super friendly and considerate.

Goldie’s is in the center of downtown, so make sure to pay your meter when you park unless it’s a Sunday. There’s also a garage you can park in nearby.

Wheelchair accessibility looks decent, although I do not use a wheelchair so take it with a grain of salt. I don’t believe the door to enter has an automatic open feature but the people ordering and working are kind, and I’m sure anyone would be happy to open the door for someone not able to open it themselves. There’s an alright amount of space to move but it is a bit of a small store. There are raised counters, but also low tables with chairs and booths. I haven’t been in the bathrooms but seeing how family and kindness oriented the business is, if they didn’t have ADA stalls I would be shocked. I’ll check the bathrooms and I will update the next time I go.

Sooo good! Super friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all. We love the neighbor account program and enjoy being able to add to help the community for those in need. The bagels and cream cheese options are delicious! We had to buy a dozen to-go to share with family at home!

Had the avocado toast and egg on a Goldee bagel. Was incredibly good, light crunch on outside, chewy on inside. Well flavored and seasoned egg. This is a busy place and it’s well deserved. They also gave me a chocolate babka to try that I shared with my wife. It was so good she told me
We would be back for more in the future. Thank you all for kind service today, really enjoyed my meal.

Nice little Jewish style bagel shop. Would have loved a bit more meat on the menu, but I understand the vegan appeal. Good bagels and I think the first time I’ve ever really liked cream cheese. I was thankful to get breakfast there today.

This is hands down the best bagel place I’ve ever eaten at by far. Hands down one of the best breakfast places in Columbia. Best bagels in the Midwest in my opinion. Shockingly good bagels with some really sweet staff. Be prepared to stand in a line if you go on a weekend but also know that it will be completely worth it when you get to the end. The service is super fast and the staff is great. If they make a mistake (which is rare) they are incredibly apologetic and quick to fix it. The bagels are very sizable, perfectly coated in their respective seasonings and always so fresh. I come here at least once a week and have never had a bad experience

The food and service here is amazing!!

Tried the Sec sandwich, which had locally made salami and the right amount of hot honey for a tangy sweet under tone to the sandwich.

Also had to try a plain toasted bagel with honey lemon cream cheese. It had the tart of lemons perfectly mellowed by the honey and cream cheese. It wasn’t too sweet either.

Overall, highly recommend for a quick bite or to go.
