Someone told us this was good Chinese food. I must have the wrong place because the food was awful! Sweet and sour dinner and chicken and broccoli. Sweet and sour tasted like it was under a heat lamp for 2 days. Total garbage! Broccoli was soggy and sauce was tasteless. Place looked sketchy.

Don’t waste your money here. I’m not easy to disappoint when it comes to Chinese food but this was just not good, we asked for everything extra spicy and there was no spice whatsoever. The bourbon chicken tasted like straight honey and the general tso chicken was just fried breading pieces, no chicken at all. The Coca-Cola we they gave us was expired by over a month and the fortune cookies were also old. Just nothing good about this place.

The food was delicious, I ordered over the phone and picked it up. It was hot and fresh.
I got vegetable rolls, crispy and tasty. A small wonton soup that was very good. The broth was very flavorful, and the wontons had plenty of delicious pork filling. Even the wonton strips that came with the soup were good. A lot of times, you get stale strips, but these had a great crisp and flavor.
Pork lo mein was tasty with plenty of vegetables and roast pork with great flavor. Chicken and broccoli had a great ginger smell, and the broccoli was cooked perfectly, neither too hard nor too soft.
All of the small portions were pretty big and definitely priced well.
Better than anything I’ve found in Pittsburgh, that’s for sure!

These guys make amazing food and have great portion sizes for the money. Been getting food from them for over 8 years. These guys are busy most of the time so it’s best not to ask for the delivery as it may take longer when they are slammed with customers but don’t let delivery stop you from enjoying their food. Just pick up the order and you’ll be good.

I got the house special lo mein it wasn’t bad just had no flavor at all and the fortune cookie was old I couldn’t break it it just bent I’m new to Harrisburg and wanted to give this place a chance but won’t be going back I’m sorry but the portions are big I got a large and I couldn’t even eat half of it (when I came home I added my own seasonings to it)

It’s unfortunate to see a number of bad reviews here. This is my husband and I’s favorite take out Chinese in the immediate area (general Colonial Park area)…and we have tried many. We have never had a bad experience here once. Not only do we prefer their food over others, but the prices are much more reasonable as well (and in this economy!)…
Perhaps our experience is different because we don’t order delivery. We live within a 3 mile radius, and so it has always made more sense for us to just go grab the food ourselves (the delivery times are always longer than if you just get it yourself, and I have a vehicle and it’s not a big inconvenience to me to just go grab takeout, so why pay someone to do something I can easily do myself?). So, I can’t speak for the delivery service in my evaluation.
As far as the language barrier goes, I guess it’s simply what I’ve come to expect when ordering from a Chinese (or Italian, or Indian, or whatever…) restaurant. I don’t expect an exchange of communication on the same level of an American restaurant…and I don’t need that. They’re short and to the point, and for me, that’s all I really need (I prefer to avoid all “obligatory” small talk, if I can help it, haha).
Until something gives us a reason, this will remain our “go-to” Chinese take out. As of now, I have no complaints and only positive experiences (and we’ve ordered here many times). So, I guess, you’ll have to decide for yourself, but I’d say it’s at least worth giving this place a shot!

Ordered delivery online and it estimated that it would take 40 minutes. I understand things happen so a little late is fine. But it was an hour and a half when our food finally arrived. My husband asked the driver for the total and he acted like he didn’t speak English. Once we opened the food, everything was COLD. We called the restaurant and the lady said she didn’t believe us and we would need to come there with our food. We own a business, pizza shop actually (we wanted something different tonight) and couldn’t leave. I even said if I could leave I wouldn’t have ordered delivery. She just kept repeating that we needed to come there for a refund and she didn’t believe us. She said everyone does that…. so I guess everyone has problems. She hung up on us multiple times. Finally the driver came and took the food back. Our food was $26 plus the tip. The driver only gave my husband $20 back and then asked him if he wanted the tip. So now he conveniently spoke English. Will never be ordering again.

I tend to only get what I know is going to be good so chicken,rich,and egg rolls. I have ordered a few other things from them and haven’t since but yesterday I got my normal and she didn’t even cook it properly, I can tell the temp of the oil wasn’t where it normally was because of out long it took and how poorly my chicken turned out. I was scared to even feed it to my child, I wish they spoke better English so I could communicate properly but considering the lady that takes the orders isn’t the friendliest most of the time. My conclusion is stick to the basics and 80 percentage of the time it will be great

Horrible service . Got my order wrong and once delivered and tipped I checked my bag to find the wrong order. I called and they asked me to pay again for the “new order”. Their fried shrimp looks like sweet and sour chicken and everything was nasty. Never again. Ugh. The fried chicken looked like it was fried twice. It only took them 20
Mins from the call until the delivery which means that food was old. It tasted old. 40.33 down the drain. I don’t recommend this place to anyone looking for good food.

My absolute favorite place to get takeout! I literally drove a half hour just to get food from this restaurant when I moved for a year or so. Now I live only about 5 miles from here again. Delivery is fast, food is always amazing, and they have always treated me wonderfully. I don’t understand the negative reviews I see on here coz in the last 6 years I’ve never had one. I’ve lived beside it my whole life.
