Husband wife place. Husband cooks wife serves! Great food, Had green curry and a small portion of Tom Kha. A little on the expensive side but I ordered a 10 spice level and it did live up to expectations. A lot of locals and regulars come there I saw. Recommend for sure!

I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience because it was genuinely disappointing. Unfortunately, the food was the worst Thai cuisine I’ve ever had. The texture, flavor, aroma, presentation—every aspect—was unappealing.
They do take care for people with allergies which is nice.
That said, the restaurant itself was quiet, and the staff were extremely friendly. I truly hope they can turn things around, because the people working there seem very kind and deserving of success.

Sept 2024: I gave it another try, staff were friendly and food was amazing as always. I guess the other day was just unlucky.
Update: we were there after 5pm.. there was people dining inside.
I left the restaurant because no one came to serve me… The place wasn’t busy, and a couple of tables had people eating. My friend and I sat by the door waiting to be taken to our seat. After five minutes, we decided to walk in and stand by the front counter, maybe that way someone can notice us. Another 5 minutes pass by still no one. We had no clue how to let them know they have costomers waiting to be seated. We left the restaurant.
FYI, I have had food here before, which is good. But come on… please find a way where you could be more aware of people entering the restaurant. Kind of disappointed.

Awesome food and service. Our server even accommodated a special request i had with my dish without hesitating. I got a 6 on the 1-10 spiciness scale. I’m from the south and have had my fair share of spicy food. That being said, i enjoy some heat but nothing that is going to be miserable to eat. The level of heat from the spice coupled with the heat from it being straight out the kitchen was too much together. I was still able to eat it but had to wait for each bite to cool off and hey, i asked for it. Delicious!

I’ve been here many times for the Thai curry, golden curry, green, massaman and it’s been the best Thai curry I’ve had. I just learned that I like Pad Thai so I figured I’d come and of course it was delicious.
I went during lunch, and the food came out very quick and very hot.
Perfect amount of spice at a Level 6.
Came out to $18 with tip

If you are looking for a very delicious Thai food restaurant right next to University Mall and also near the movie theater, that serves fresh and very flavorful Thai food – at a reasonable price in this terrible economy – with usually excellent service, you have found it at Golden Thai.
Their Tom Kha Gai soup is beyond stellar. Their curries are perfect, and the noodles and stir fries are superb.
This is the best Thai restaurant in Utah Valley, bar none.

We love coming here. Every time we come the lady who serves us is super friendly and is very attentive. The food is excellent, and portion sizes are great. If we lived closer we would come even more frequently, but this is still one of our favorite restaurants.
