Horrible restaurant and service. Manager unprofessional. I order a pt house special lo mein and 2 egg rolls. Kid took my order. He wrote the order down in chinese. I got home open the container and its fried rice. I dont eat rice. I know what I ordered. I have my receipt. I called back and the manager a lady arguing with me. She didn’t take the order. This is why I don’t eat out for ignorance like that. She is telling me he charge me 6.95 plus 2 egg rolls 1.85 a piece. I told him house special li mein. Never again.

Very nice people at this restaurant. The chicken dish was good and the egg roll was just as good. It is a small seating area with four tables as a downside. I would like more table room and restaurants available since I travel the country and really don’t carry out meals. I also prefer a soda machine with ice as opposed to just a single 12 oz can of soda that comes with the meal. That is why I knocked off one star was for the lack of tables and a soda machine. That being said, you can trust this lunch spot for good food and that is the most important aspect of the visit.

Finally a restaurant with New York/New Jersey standards. We got the pork fried rice, shrimp eggrolls, pork eggrolls, friend wontons, and kung pao chicken and the pork was lean, the eggroll actually had shrimp, fresh ingredients, amazing texture, and amazing fresh taste that took me back to NJ.

After a fun city tour at Seaside Seabird Sanctuary, we stopped by Golden Star Restaurant. They had a few tables for dining in, but we decided to get takeout and enjoy it back at our hotel. The service was great—friendly and efficient—and the food was very good. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and hit the spot after a long day out. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!
