Scott was a super cool guy. He makes awesome drinks and was really nice to chat with. Stuff like that always makes me enjoy going out to bars. The place is a vibe – it’s nice and dark, has plenty of places to sit – and the drinks are very good. We didn’t have any food but the menu looks tasty! We will definitely be back!

We recently celebrated our organization’s anniversary at this beautiful and charming location. It sets you back into a decor of an era when music was a focus point of society. It has beautiful furniture and decorations, and a spectacular bar. The staff was beyond supportive, our coordinator Eunice had been so thoughtful and prepared a menu of our drink selections and bites for the evening. She was very transparent on cost and really helped us stay on budget. They allowed us to bring a celebration cake and little plates and decorations. We couldn’t have asked for a better location and a better support staff than what we had at Golden Sound. You have to put this on your visitation list when you go to Nashville.

The vibe was fun, but for the sake of transparency, I would say be weary of this place. It’s very new Nashville and the fact that a drink will cost you a little over $30 is kind of insane. They also lowered the music about an hour and a half before closing time.

Golden Sound is one of my favorite spots in Nashville. Originally a legendary recording studio, it’s now a vibrant cocktail bar that keeps the city’s musical spirit alive. The music selection is perfectly curated, with a ritzy yacht club or lounge vibe. Plus, it’s connected to the city’s best sushi bar, Sushi | Bar Nashville. I highly recommend the Sotol Sour and the Opposite Club—both are exceptional. The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming, making it perfect for a night out with friends or a cozy date. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Golden Sound is a must-visit!

Such an amazing place with incredible bartenders. Have to say The Carajillo Granita – a version of an espresso martini is absolutely world class, as in best I’ve ever had anywhere. Sotol and nitro infused with top quality espresso, mind blowing! The picture I added is of an up-scaled old fashioned.

Great atmosphere, it was our third stop of the night so loud atmosphere and music was fun. Service was good. I had a gin drink with raspberry sorbet, which was good, my friend had a mezcal and pineapple drink that was fantastic. My sister was DD so they made her mocktail on request. Our server even let us know it would be a little pricey (16 dollars) but worth it to stay safe on the way home. The empanada counter on the way out looked good too! Can’t wait to go back!
