Went there the other day and when the waiter went to put my plate down, it smelled so bad!!!!! Like rancid poultry. I mentioned it to him and he said “oh that’s just fish sauce” and argued about it. He then put the plate back on our table and made us smell that through the rest of the meal. Wouldn’t take it back and didn’t offer to take it off the bill despite us not wanting to touch it.

I wish I had read all the comments here first. There are so many about undercooked food and nasty food! There is no excuse for it!! They are going to get someone sick!

Food is hit or miss since the place opened under new management, sometimes the fried rice is really dry and crunchy. I’ve also had the pleasure of biting into a bone a couple times from their duck fried rice so avoid that even though it does taste good.

Prices are a bit on the higher side I’ve noticed for overall amount/quality

I once had a walk in the back office and speak to a family that understood no english after waiting fifteen minutes for my pickup cause nobody was at the front register haha

The food can be good, but don’t expect much here. Golden sails still reigns supreme in Falmouth imo

The beef teriyaki is top notch here i will say!

*Organic Options* *Highly Recommend* *Friendly Staff* *Food Was Hot & Delicious* *Generous Portion Sizes*
We drove almost 1hr to visit and we’re very pleased with the service and the food was great. The only thing we didn’t like was the size of the General Tso’s Chicken Sizes were huge! I’d rather have smaller crispy pieces of chicken however the flavor was extremely unique unlike any other General Tso’s Chicken it had like a cherry flavor or something and was absolutely delicious however I was just disappointed in the large size dark meat we got. We would definitely return again in the future.

We had a great dine in experience. We had shrimp chips to start which are a blast from our upbringing in London and not seen very often. Singapore rice noodles with curry sauce, Golden Sails special fried rice, sweet and sour shrimp and Orange flavor spiced chicken. Kim made the experience very enjoyable and pleasant. Her attention to detail was not unnoticed. We ended up with another three meals for both of us with the leftovers. We will definitely be back.

My Biggest Complaint Is How Much Breading Is On the General Tsos Chicken… Everything Here Is Huge Double the Size From the Chunks of Chicken to the Pot Stickers Compared to What Im Used To… But the Breading to Chicken Ratio Was Maybe 70/30… Its Hard to Find A Whole White Piece of Chicken From the Chinese Store… I Did Like How the Rice Was Browned and Not Yellow… The Combo Platters Come With an Extra Side Such as 2 Piece Teriyaki Chicken on a Stick… ABout $18-20 Bucks Per Platter… Id Be Fine Ordering Again But Different Items and the Rice is a Go…

Golden Sails is excellent! The food was very delicious, hot, and well-prepared. I ordered a combo meal for $15, and it came with a very good portion—even perfect for a big-sized man like me. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food was ready pretty fast. Overall, a great experience, and I’ll definitely be coming back!

First and last time there. The chicken was undercooked. The fried rice looked like they mixed rice with vegetables and chicken it had no color or flavor like traditional fried rice.
Wonton soup was ok.
Same with the kun pao chicken bland and the chicken seemed not real and undercooked.

Golden Sails. e.1977. Ho Lee Fuk is this Chinese restaurant Mai Tai strong. This place in East Falmouth MA on Cape Cod has been around forever and it looks it; yeah, that drink is $8.

The food is classic Boston-style American Chinese, most of the waitstaff appears to be in their 60s. It’s very good and even the egg roll is LEGIT with real roast pork in it and it is a nice size. That brown plate of stuff is Shrimp in Lobster Sauce, it is clearly derived from the Kowloon (due to be demolished) original in Saugus. Not like the NY version. Lots of ground pork, oyster sauce, egg, and six jumbo shrimp. Pork and green beans “Chow Yoke” is also very good.

This is a must-go on Cape Cod, it is a throwback to another time. It should live forever.

The dishes was huge, I couldn’t finish. They take time to prepare the food and at the end the server brings to you a Fortune cookie which is nice.

The food is pretty good for the reviews, but also the Crab Rangoons is really salty. Just went today and the server was extremely nice and polite. Well the people who reviewed poorly on this restaurant should just not eat there because YOU DAMN PEOPLE DON’T ACTUALLY APPRECIATE THE HARD WORK THAT THEY PUT INTO THE FOOD. Overall good.
