This place is like the Seinfeld episode: “no soup for you.” Except this is “no Chinese broccoli for you.” I ordered an order of dumplings and a side order of white rice. I got inspired by the dishes that were sitting on the counter behind the register-some meat, Chinese broccoli, with oyster sauce, and white rice in a bowl. So I said: “Can I get a side order of Chinese broccoli?” The person taking the order at the register said “no that’s only for us.” I guess that makes sense. I’m not Chinese, obviously, so I have to eat American broccoli. American broccoli for American people. Chinese broccoli only for Chinese people. This place is mainly takeout, but they have a dining room and the only other guy in the dining room was laughing. So much for DEI. But the food food was good.

This restaurant most closely resembles the chinese food you get in nyc, it’s good. The food is tastes great. They have a lunch special. It’s affordable compared to other “Chinese” restaurants in town. They also deliver.

I used to come often 2013; The shrimp rolls are tasty, my favorite. Last few years the owner mood changed. I have been patience with her. Saturday, Jan 12, 2025 order four wings & shrimp fried rice. I ate one chicken my stomach turning, rice not as usual. I threw rest of my meal away. I went back next day, while no one in the store. This one want to agrue, I told her, I didn’t come here to make a scene and exit. It was frying grease or wing.

We order from there now and then. The food is good,a nd everyone here likes it. It is a walk up place, so even though I voted 5 stars for the Atmosphere, it is a walk up Chinese Place with a few tables, not a dining room

Food is good but they refuse to make my vegetable egg food young. Lady said it was too much work.

The shrimp egg foo young itself was basic, their gravy is plain nasty. Lacked flavor and time, an for that meal in particular the gravy is the most important part. Shouldve known it wasnt going to be good based off the cashier demeanor. She seemed annoyed, shouldve walked out but I went with convenience. Don’t do that Lol…wasted money and time. An its actually not clean in there.

I had a really disappointing experience with this restaurant, and it all started with a phone call. The person who answered was incredibly rude and seemed to think that yelling was an acceptable way to communicate. Instead of answering my questions, she dismissed me with a tone that was both unprofessional and disrespectful. It’s clear that whoever is handling customer inquiries could use some serious etiquette lessons. I won’t be returning, as this kind of treatment is simply unacceptable. 1 star is too generous.

UPDATE JANUARY 2025
Not sure why, but the quality of the food has dropped. When I eat Chinese food I ONLY eat form here and my last order, the meat was hard I threw the whole dinner out. I was actually shocked this happened here since I have been orderign from here for 8 years with absolutely zero issues all this time.
The people are still amazing, friendly and fast and is why the rating score remains high. I appreciate the people who work here.
