Chow mein was really good! Orange chicken was chewy and hard to bite, bbq fried rice was good, and Kung pao beef was ok. They only gave me one portion of steam rice, I thought, supposed to be 2, but it was ok. The server was nice and polite, I waited around 20 min to get my food, they told me 10 min, but I noticed a lot of people coming to pick up, so I waited patiently. Will be back for the chow mein.

We showed up an hour before closing and we were promptly seated. We ordered and our food was out in less than 10 minutes. The food was hot, well seasoned and the portion you got for $12 was enough for me to have for lunch the next day (which I plan on doing). The restaurant was clean and could easily accommodate a good volume of people. The server was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed so we literally asked for nothing. This will definitely be my new spot for Chinese food. They also offers takeout and that process seams seamless as well.

The tom kah soup is sooooo yummy and the assorted appetizer is a great way to try a little of everything and it’s all tasty. The service is good and family owned. The Thai tea with boba is delicious, I’m normally not a fan of boba but something about this really makes me consider changing my mind. Highly recommend to support a local business!

Placed an order on their website, paid on the website. Got a call stating they needed my card info to be charged. I said I literally just paid on the website. They said something about releasing funds. I proceeded to pay again when I arrived in person. Then I check my bank 2 days later and I’m charged TWICE for one order. The food is good but not worth the hassle of trying to dispute a transaction. Seems like a scam.
Update: it has been 4 weeks since the restaurant claimed to have issued a refund and no refund in sight on my statement!

Best Chinese food in Vegas I come here and get the salt and pepper shrimp or the salt and pepper fish. I have tried a couple other things on the menu and everything always comes out flavorful and good. I’m very happy about my experience because it’s very hard to find good Chinese food thing that Vegas has no culture, but when I stumbled across this place a couple years ago, I was very happy and I have been back all the time ever since definitely a thumbs up to the manager and cook in the back keep up the good work !

2nd time there. The lady was dismissive. Sat us down and instantly went to handle other things. There were enough workers there but seems like they had no interest in being there. The guy handed us the menus and said not one word before walking away. Food is great but I would like to get a service worthy of the food. Hope they work on their service approach so we can actually enjoy dining there.

Wow, this place has really gone down hill. We ordered 3 lunch specials and they didn’t even number which was which on the Styrofoam containers. The chicken was slimey, vegetables sliced paper thin and then over done. In other words mush. The spring rolls tasted like the old oil they were cooked in and the center was slimey. There was nothing good about this. I have occasionally eaten lunch at Golden Phoenix since 2012, but this is the last straw for me. This food was not good in any way. They have clearly given up. I would avoid this place.
