This used to be the spot for the house special fried rice all day everyday but the taste has changed. The sesame chicken lunch special meat was hard chewy pieces & rice was salty, there must be a new chef or the quality of food just keeps getting worse everywhere. Also price went up $2

Honestly, I like the food..but the lady at the front counter is really rude..she doesn’t greet you..she doesn’t say thank you..I almost feel like I’m bothering them when I go to buy their food..I asked her for some napkins and she literally threw them on the counter so, the last time I went there, I decided I would no longer spend my money where I wasn’t appreciated..management, please learn that good service means a lot in the restaurant business. Be kind to your patrons, say hello , say thank you it goes a long way..you’re not giving the food away for free..we’re customers that are paying money for the food. We deserve common courtesy..please, learn that friendliness and courtesy is vital in the restaurant business if you want your business to thrive..honestly it always baffles me to see that so many restaurants have terrible customer service..I wonder, would they go to a place where they pay for something and aren’t treated nicely…probably not! So, hello? be nice to your patrons..✌️

They would not sell me the food I asked for because I didn’t get more than what they thought I should get. The fact I could not pay with my debit card because they wanted me to order more food is ridiculous. Service is horrible and they spoke in another language and did not even answer me in the end. Just shook her head. The food is mid as hell and not worth the price or wait. They have no love and cook just to make money.

Golden Phoenix has a great selection of staple items that are perfectly prepared by an efficient, professional crew. They are worth the extra distance for me and my family because I know whenever or whatever we decide to order it’ll be ready when I arrive and when I get it back to my family, it’ll be fresh and taste spectacular. I cannot recommend them enough.

So this place was recommended by someone in a group on Facebook….I was really hoping for at least a decent Chinese place in my area…sadly my search continues. We ordered wonton soup, pork fried rice, garlic chicken and the ever popular General Tao’s chicken. The wonton soup was just ok and the wontons were all dough and flavorless, the fried rice was ok and the best thing we had, the garlic chicken was VERY wet with boring sauce and hammered vegetables that were falling apart…lastly the General Tao’s chicken, I know it is the most popular dish in Chinese take out and I am a firm believer in trying classic popular dishes at ethnic restaurants (chicken parmesan at Italian, pad Thai at Thai places, Gyros at greek, etc.) I feel that restaurants need to execute these items with that in mind. Well the General Tao’s was just awfull, the chicken was frock hard nuggets of batter and there was no way to identify the chicken, the broccoli was mushy and almost sour in some odd way, the sauce tasted like ketusap with soy sauce, sugar and hoisin sauce….to add to that the rice was a paste, completely overcooked. So in the end sorry but they do not hit the mark at all.

Very good, reasonable pricing, good portion, ate here one time .. I had boneless spare ribs with house special fried rice lunch special … THE RIBS WHERE TENDER!!!! some restaurants you go to the ribs be about to rip out your teeth. VERY GOOD SAUCE AS WELL!! I give props when it’s due

Omg finally found a great Chinese place near my house! Not close enough for delivery but worth driving to! The wonton soup had a light heat to it. Egg rolls, Lo Mein, it was all good. Walking in its well lit with staff waiting to help. The guy who helped us was very friendly and worked fast to get us our order. We called ahead but we got there a little early and it was ready!

Revisted my local Golden Phoenix. The dinner special was awesome. Egg Drop soup with green onions rocked. Pork fried rice was fresh and tender. Shrimp with egg sauce perfect. Eggroll was really good. So much better than those of the past. Keep up the good work.
