This the second time I’ve tried to give them a shot for my work food. 1st time I call and they said 15 minutes. I gave them 30 and my food wasn’t even dropped yet. And no I can’t wait my break will be over by the time it’s done. 2nd time. I call and this time I gave them 45 minutes like hopefully my food will be ready once I’m there. Nope I get there and she says I couldn’t have called them. Now I’m mad I walk to my car call the number to make sure it’s them. And boom she answered. I’m like I’m just making sure I called the right number and she laughed. The food is good don’t get me wrong but the service trumps that. I’m good on them

I ordered a catfish dinner. The fish was in one inch wide strip. The fries had no seasoning. I called and asked if it was catfish. I definitely have my doubts. I went back up there a day later just to show her what l used to get, her response, that shouldn’t have been cut like that. So basically l passed by the foreign places to patronize my people and all l got was l was lying. I won’t be going there again l didn’t want a free meal just and honest explanation.

Very friendly low prices but the banana pudding was like soup and the chicken had barely any flavor and was tiny little pieces and kind of tough to eat. Floor inside and counters were sticky and gross the glass was hard to see through. Went because of all the good reviews but won’t ever go back. Don’t recommend trying. I’ve had better food that was a day old at the liquor store. Fries were on point tho

My husband and I stumbled upon this establishment by accident as we were in Flint for the 1st time. Customer service was decent but those lemon pepper chicken wings…made up for it. I also ordered the greens and none of it disappointed. We will definitely make the drive again soon. Best I’ve had in a long long time!

I hear it used to be a top soul food joint before the pandemic. Limited food options. Hope they get back to the way it was. The BBQ grill outside hasn’t been used in a long time. Will go back and try something else. Had chicken wings and fries. Very tasty.

Suggested an edit to Sunday hours. They don’t stay open until 10pm. Seem to close at 7 or 8pm. Tried to pick up an order and the door was locked, nobody answered the phone either.
