We came in towards the end of the evening at 8:30pm. We were welcomed in with no delay. All the food came out smoking hot. Lots of things were said to be made in house. We have eaten at the Golden many times and the food was always excellent. On Thursday night it changed, 11,6,25. Place was nearly empty and the food came out quickly. Hush puppies were cold and the fish was very overcooked. You could only taste crunchy crust the oysters and scallops. Scallops were old. The flounder was also very overcooked. My wife asked about the hush puppies and the Waitress brought back another order. This order was reheated and dripping with oil. Middle still cold. I suspect all the food had been warmed up in oil, because that’s all you could taste. I kept expecting Gordon Ramsay to come in and tell us to leave. Was one of our favorites places.

Seafood platter had 3 small scallops, 3 small oysters,one deviled crab, 3/4cup of baby shrimp, one piece of flounder that was like mush. Not worth 20.00. For got to give us slaw until we were almost finished eating.
