It’s a food truck in the gas station parking lot. Very very yummy Gyro plate. I was craving Mediterranean food and found this gem! Hit the spots immediately. The gyro is seasoned perfectly but oh boy, what surprised me was the rice. So flavorful yet still not overpowering other components of the plate. I would go back for the rice honestly. Huge portion too.
I paid $23.79 total (for a plate (15.99) and a side of tzatziki (5.99) plus tax)

Really good food truck parked in a little strip mall next to the Texaco. Super friendly guy, we were with a group of 6 but the food came out pretty quick. Really delicious– the salad that comes with the plates had the perfect amount of dressing, rice and meats were great, and it comes with a nice pita bread too. We went here instead of trying to find a restaurant at the Riverwalk– was definitely a good call.

The brothers are really cool. I always get a cheeseburger and fries and every time I go I get great conversation and food. A hard combination these days. And if I call it in and they say 12 min, it’s always 12 min! Also a hard thing to get these days. Great job guys and I’ll be back for sure

Chicken Schwarma and Beef/Lamb Gyros are my go-to and the guy who runs this shop cooks up some amazing food – really good! I’ve tried a couple spots around here and this food truck is the only thing that’s impressing, humble exteriors aside. Definitely coming back a 3rd time!

The cleanest foodtruck kitchen I’ve ever seen in san antonio, the staff were very welcoming and food was more than amazing! Best shawarmas in their area and downtown for sure and probably in san antonio !
We’ve been a whole group and they were so friendly with us.
Their burgers were such another level of flavors also their Philly cheesesteak Sandwiches ❤same for their tikkas and shawarmas.
Couscous is one of the best meals that you can have there also and a lot of things can be PERSONALIZED per request!!
We also tried their desserts and it’s 100% home made flavor!
I highly recommend and definitely will be back real soon to get some more and try their soups that I can’t wait to try

A food truck in a parking lot, which really hit the spot after a day at the zoo. Ordered a gyro platter, hummus, and baklava from the very friendly man behind the counter. We happened to take it to a picnic table in Breckenridge park. Would highly recommend!

There’s an old saying that you can find some of the best foods at food trucks and you certainly will find that at this truck. You can tell the food is freshly made and the chef/owner puts his heart and soul into every dish, so each bite is more heavenly than the next. The only disappointing part is when the food is all finished. Oh well, that just means you need to eat more! And the chef certainly is not shy to feed his customers and treat them all like family! Make sure you show him some love and if you need some help deciding, don’t hesitate to ask. He recommended the burger and the shawarma. It was divine! Wish I could give him more stars!

Very flavorful and authentic. Great customer service that is very hard to find around midnight at a food truck. Also when I had doubts about what to choose, Mr. Imam gave me samples to try. This proves that he knows how to build relationships with customers and retain them. I would highly recommend him and his business.

Golden Eats is an indelible food gem. The truck quietly tucked away in its unassuming beauty packs a punch full of authentic flavor. As a native New Yorker spoiled by terrific middle eastern style food trucks like Halal guys and Sammy’s, I can safely say I know a thing or two about quality when it comes to this food. Mr. Hassan’s friendliness is only second to his cooking.
I ordered the Falafel plate and the Harira Soup. Like Mexican food, one can gauge the menu by sampling carnitas; if they are juicy, the rest of the menu is good. Falafel is one of those litmus tests from which you can safely bet on the quality of the menu, and this falafel did not disappoint. It was crispy on the outside, moist inside, and with the right amount of salt. The Falafels comfortably sit on a bed of yellow aromatic rice, please drown them with the secret white sauce notorious with this style of food; oh yea, don’t forget the hot sauce. Excellent even heat and not too acidic.
The Harira soup was vibrant and hearty. I am not a meat eater per se, but I did not mind shoving away the nice bite-size chunks of meat to find plenty of chickpeas and noodles. This one was also perfect in the level of salt and spice—a must-try. Last but not least, the salad was refreshing and with a heaping portion of olives and cucumbers—all in all, delicious food. The new Yorker in me approves. I will not be surprised if there a big lines and long waits in this food truck! Keep it up Golden Meals

This is my 3rd time here and I’ve always stuck with the same thing. The first 2 times the food was amazing! Decided to switch it up tonight, not a good idea. The food I ordered looks nothing like the picture on the menu, the chicken shawarma is dry and so is the rice and pita. I also ordered humus with ground beef, (nothing was ground) and it was just as cold as the humus and there were no almonds as promised. And the prices on the menu don’t match what I was charged. The best thing about this $40 order was the nuggets and fries I got for my nephew. Lesson learned.
To add to this review the gentleman I usually deal with wasn’t there this evening, he was off. His name is Emaam, I may be spelling it wrong. But if he’s not there if I decide to go back, I will not be placing an order.
