All Taiwanese street food, and very authentic! You could tell by the rice covered by pork oil or chicken oil if order chicken rice, but I have adapted a healthier diet, not used to it at the first beginning. Come early, we came when it just opened and all the customers came in.

With six people in our group, we had the chance to sample quite a few items from the menu—and I have to say, most dishes were authentically close to what I had in Taipei.

• Pork fish cake soup
• Ground pork noodles
• Oyster vermicelli
• Intestine vermicelli

• Fried pork chop
• Fried popcorn chicken
• Fried oysters
• Fried squid ball
• Pickled cabbage and cucumber
Each dish had its own charm, but what really stood out was how well they captured the flavors of Taiwanese street food. The vermicelli dishes were rich and flavorful, the rice ball was comforting and satisfying, and the fried items were crispy, well-seasoned, and not overly greasy.
The pickled cabbage and cucumber added a nice refreshing contrast to the heavier items. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared and brought back great food memories from Taiwan.

Best Taiwanese food you have ever eaten! So far, everything is delicious . I ordered their fried pork chop, and it’s so juicy. I enjoy their mustard greens but they are good with pork belly rice. The rice was delicious because the fatty and lean meat was evenly portioned in every bite. I ordered the pork intestine with oyster vermicelli, but I prefer only the oyster because the intestines, to my preference, are a bit plain. The oysters are fresh, and it would be nice if the menu had fried oysters as appetizers . The popcorn chicken wasn’t my favorite because it had less basil and was sweet, which was different from the ones I had. But overall, it’s good, and I will be coming back.

Authentic Taiwanese food! Braised pork rice and and intestine vermicelli here are legit! So good! 5 out of 5! Popcorn chicken and oyster omelette were decent, but I do wish the oysters can be more fresh. They are kind of fishy.

Food is fantastic here, parking is easy, service is good. The only issue is things sell out here, FAST. Past 6pm you better ask if they still have the menu items you want before going in. heck a lot of times they’d be out of rice of all things.

Golden Leaf has been on my list of restaurants to try for a while. The restaurant doesn’t have air conditioning, so it can be a bit stuffy, but it’s manageable with the large fan running. There are no drinks available on the menu, only water. We ordered four appetizers and two main dishes for the two of us. Every dish was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the braised pork rice I ordered, which exceeded my expectations. The meat was generously spread over the rice, and every bite was flavorful. We also had the oyster vermicelli, which was very fresh. I highly recommend the kimchi among the appetizers. It was plentiful, crisp, and tasty. Since we ordered quite a bit of food, it became a bit heavy, and the kimchi was perfect to balance it out.
Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant.
