It’s ok. Nothing spectacular. The area this is located in isn’t the best and quite run down. Probably not safe to be out late at night. The restaurant itself was ok. I had a beef sizzler but the beef wasn’t very good. Good portions and reasonably priced but I think there are nicer Chinese restaurants to go to.

GKT is close to SF City Hall and the SF Public Library, an ideal location for a quick work lunch. Ordering off the lunch menu, my choice was Kung Pao chicken with white rice. Egg drop soup was included. A glass of water and a Coke completed the meal. The soup and entrè were hot, fresh, and tasty. I needed my daily dose of vegetables, and the Kung Pao didn’t disappoint. Celery, green peppers, mushrooms, onions, peanuts, and zucchini fixed that. There was plenty of chicken. I couldn’t eat it all, but I would certainly return if I was ever in the area again.

Ordered dinner from here thru Grubhub and the food was very hot and some of the best ive ever had!! We ordered Kung pao chicken, Beef Chow Fun and Rockcod in black bean sauce… All tasted great with very good portions and lots of meat and fish!! I highly recommend!!

Dive type restaurant with huge portions and low prices. Chow fun was very good. General Tao Chicken was good. Hot and Sour soup was bland. Service was not great. Locals speaking Chinese were seated and to go orders were flying out the door – probably two signs the restaurant is good. I’d rate it 3.5 stars because of the uneven service and average soup.
