I have eaten at a lot of fine restaurants but this one was ridiculous!!! Starting off with the owner, he was very loud and obnoxious!!! He really didn’t care if he took your order or not. Secondly, the wait time was unheard of, we waited over 2 hours for food that we never got!!! Lastly, one of the cook had a huge slimy booger in his nose while he was cooking the customer’s food!!!! I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT AND WILL NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENTS TO ANYONE!!!!!

I was stuck at the local (GTR) airport down the road while I was waiting on a delayed flight, and went in search of close restaurants that I could get to, while not eating fast food. What I found was a family run gem, full of character, and some of the kindest people I have ever met.
While I really wanted to order a ribeye, as they looked great in the meat case as I walked in, I stumbled across a great value plate, that was equally delicious. The Black and Blue Steak Salad was just perfect at just $16. The steak chunks may have been a touch more cooked than my medium rare that I ordered, they were super tender and had a great crust on them. A good crust is hard to find without properly drying the surface of the meat prior to cooking. I can tell this place has high potential, even though I didn’t order the crown jewel.
Being that it was getting late, and I needed to get back to the airport, the owner Marcus offered to drive me back to the airport free of charge! I cannot believe how over and above these folks went to take care of me. Next time I am nearby, I’ll be sure to pay Marcus, Holland, and the whole Golden Horn family a visit. Frankly, I owe them one!

Terrible experience, the grilled shrimp was burnt as was the toast and you can get a bigger steak at the cracker barrel. When I pointed this out to the waitress she got rude. A second waitress did aquire us toast that was not burnt. Thank you to her. However, at check out our waitress charged us for it in addition to the burnt items (shrimp and toast) to burnt to eat. I paid and now I am off to find a real steak.

Went there for a late Valentines dinner with my wife. With kids activities and work sometimes our time takes weeks to get. We went expecting good food and good service only to get a young blonde waitress that doesn’t know the menu. We didn’t know there was specials until we heard others talking about it as we were leaving. Waited 2 hours for food I could’ve dove into a dumpster to get. The cook says he’s the best steak cook in Mississippi but clearly he’s never been to an actual steak house. And he also had trouble with us telling him his little girl friend waitress was no good. She would take 30 minutes to come back with refills. When we asked about how much longer in our food would be, she never came back until she brought the check. The food is so bad we’re bringing back the left overs to my Great Pyrenees, if she’ll eat it. The last picture is of his “great steak” in my dogs bowl.

Our waitress Holland was super fun! High energy and all around a wonderful waitress! Absolutely a wonderful night! A bunch of us had bourbon chunks and the twice baked potato! Soooo good!

Terrible!!! I will never go again. I was charged 85! For nothing….my food was over an hour& late….my steak was suppose to be 16ozs it was $55! It was not good..it was dry..I was so disappointed…the owner was rude…he would not take the tip off because it was a group. I have no problem paying tips but when the food is almost 2 hours late and the steak was terrible, why charge! The Owner and his daughter were not polite at all in this situation!! If y’all had a good experience there, good for you…I didn’t..I’ll never go again and I was told not to return because I took a picture of the menu…the owner scared be following me out the door… I’ve never been treated like this in any restaurant in Columbus. Rubens and Old Hickory are the best..they know how to treat customers…..I will pay tips y’all but it’s sad when your food is super late and not worth the cost..never again

Poor service, oily pasta, burnt burgers, and steak sandwiches. Waited over 2 hours for our overly priced food in an unsanitary establishment. Extremely disappointed for my first visit needless to say I will not return and apologize to everyone that came for my birthday.
