Food was delicious. You get a lot for the price. I was able to eat on it two times. I purchased the catfish and gizzard plate.
Catfish was fried with course cornmeal (which is better and like home style) instead of fine cornmeal other restaurants use. Gizzards were meaty with not a lot of grislie.
If you something that tastes like it came from your kitchen and not a factory, this is the place.

We went to this restaurant last night for the 1st time and loved it! The cashier was very nice and even did a favor for my 4 year old daughter. Everything was fresh and cooked to order. The wait was not long and the food was amazing and well seasoned. My daughter said dad this fish is delicious. If you are in the area and thinking about going here , make that stop it will be worth your while.

The food is always great!! Unknowingly I showed up 10 minutes before closing and Lacy the cashier was still super sweet and filled my order. I didn’t even realize it was closing until I got back in my car and saw the new hours on the door. Go say hi to Lacy and let her show you that beautiful smile!!

Everyone was so nice and friendly here. The shrimp were good size and cleaned with great fried batter. The gizzards wee delicious, perfectly cooked and they were very generous with portions. My only disappointment was the Coleslaw but I still have 5 stars just because it was clean, the food was all fresh and delicious and everyone here was so friendly.

My aunt sent me here to get fried liver for my sick mother who has not been eating. The establishment is clean, the cashier was super nice and the food was cooked to order, can’t get better than that. My mom ate all the fried liver and I tried some, plus I ordered chicken wings and OMG those things were good. My wings were golden fried, well seasoned and a lil extra special season on top to set it off!! Will be back !!
Update 07/29/2023: The food is still good! Went there yesterday after leaving Chuckie Cheese. My 5 yo son LOVES their chicken, I mean he cleans the chicken bone, but my picky eater is eating!

What a wonderful fryhouse. We ordered a fish & shrimp basket, a catfish and gizzard basket and a side of okra. Everything was fried perfectly.
The fish, catfish and okra were all cornmeal breaded. The gizzard were flour breaded and the shrimp seamed to be crackermeal breaded. Service was fast. The price was right. Everything was cooked just right. The order taker was knowledgeable and fast.
Make sure they put thier special seasoning salt on your order! It really makes everything pop and don’t let them forget to give you some hotsauce. Definitely will return next time I am back in town.

I like my catfish very clean without a fishy smell, white & flakey meat and fried extra crispy and let me tell you these guys deliver. I’ve been three times and will go back again when I get a hankering for some fried fish.

Was my first time going there and I enjoyed everything about the food and service. I had the Gizzards and Fish combo. Fried up tasty and crispy and seasoned just right. (Best to eat right away so it doesn’t sweat in the container.) The only thing I didn’t like was how small the place was for the amount of traffic. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to try a new spot with a tasty menu.
