This was my wife’s and I first visit to this establishment. We were definitely not disappointed, the inside had a very welcoming and comfortable vibe. The fish tanks were very calming to look at and very well maintained. The decor had a fun and almost whimsical feel. Our waitress was very friendly and attentative to our questions and requests. The food was not only cooked properly but presented very well. The amount of food to menu price was very fair, we absolutely did not leave hungry and will be back again.

Service and food were great and prices are fair (meaning good). Only issue we experienced is being charged the full price for drinks during happy hour that are on the happy hour priced list, but when I called the next day to tell them this, I was refunded the amount on my next visit so no problem. Also, there is some confusion about happy hour all day on Thursdays. It shows on the Facebook page that Thursdays are still happy hour from open to close but server told me that was no longer the case. It would be good if they posted an updated happy hour policy so no confusion. Maybe they did but I wasn’t able to find it anywhere.
We have dined there twice since they reopened and it was great both times. I love the dark, pub like ambiance, the tv’s and the aquariums, but the music is a bit too loud.

Take out only but by March of 2026, it will be the nicest sit down resturant in Lexington. I ordered the fish and chips as it is so hard to find Fired Cod. They hand batter thier Cod pices and do a good job.

Each time we come, we enjoy the food and friendly service. Meal choices have a freshness to them, not your typical food that has beef microwaved and has been under a heat lamp. Definitely recommend.

I am diverting who typically only leaves good reviews because I understand that mistakes happen. However, this had become an ongoing issue since they re-opened. My family and I order food from here about once every 10 days or so. The last 3 times, there had been a problem with the order. It happened a couple other times as well but they got a couple correct in between. Tonight, there was nobody there when the pick up was made so we assumed “they aren’t busy, everything will be good. ” Wrong! They completely messed up the sauces on the wings and they completely left out our chips and queso. My review/recommendation is…… if you order food from here, check your order before you drive home. We shouldn’t have to do that and normally don’t but it is apparent that it is a consistent problem with this staff

A hidden gem! You have to stop here! I sat at the bar to avoid the wait. It was busy. Donna was my server (the co-owner). Very, very nice and fast service. I had the blackened shrimp taco and Caribbean jerk taco. The shrimp taco had crunchy tortilla strips in it. Very nice texture and taste. The jerk chicken had awesome flavor, I could have had more heat. I like the spicy. It’s awesome here!

Based on reviews, my husband and I stopped at Baja Grill for lunch while in Lexington for the day. Our waitress was quick to take our drink orders as well as to answer any menu questions. I had the BBQ Bacon Burger with fries, and my husband ordered one of their burritos. Our food was delivered quickly, hot and accurate. Everything was delicious, and we agreed the fries were some of the best we’ve enjoyed across the country. We ordered a piece of key lime pie which we very much enjoyed later. When returning to Lexington, we will return to Baja Grill to try other menu items.

Can’t beat the prices! I had a pork belly taco and chorizo taco and they were amazing, especially the pork belly! I would have preferred that the pork belly be a little more crispy, but it was still delicious! My friend had the wings and they were not good. The sauce was good, but the wings were so dry and tough that they were almost inedible. Also, the country music was ok, but I would suggest playing a good mix, since not everyone likes country music. But overall the place was clean, the servers were very efficient and professional, and the prices were definitely on point.
