This was a wonderful experience! We called ahead of time and placed our order— roasted fish with died ripe plantains, ndole, and then okro soup and pounded yam. When we got there, our food was ready and hot! We were served nicely and lovingly. The food was absolutely delicious, every bite including the pepper (hot sauce) was great. I am Cameroonian and my wife Nigerian -Trinidadian-American. When I tell you the food was good, know it was! The portions are also large, so go hungry. It’s a small business and they work on order so call first to make sure they’re available and then place your order. You won’t regret it .

This is one of the most unique dining experiences. The restaurant is actually a home so you’re getting 100% home cooking from mama Ange. Call ahead to make sure she is available. I lived in Cameroon and this definitely brought back memories.

I ate well-braised fish with good green sauce accompanied by plantain fries and miodo. It was really well done. The price was affordable. Golden hand African food was really good and throughout my time the music was great. It was just a fun time at Golden Hand African Food.
