Golden Garden has been my go‑to Chinese restaurant for a long time now. I first tried them after being disappointed with another spot, and I’ve stuck with them ever since. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and consistently great, and the portion sizes are far more generous than other places. I’ve ordered from them for family when they visit and everyone always loves it. Easily the best and most reliable Chinese food around.

Visiting family in the area and our first time ordering from Golden Garden. Ordered 4 dinners including beef and broccoli, sesame chicken, lo mein, and egg rolls. Food was ready in about 20 minutes. Our dinners were good, but the egg rolls were really greasy.

Most times they give 6 pieces of chicken fingers with their platters, like it states on their menu. Today I ordered and only got 4 fingers all processed chicken not only that the fingers are getting smaller and smaller. I also ordered fried dumplings and asked for both sides to be fried, because the I get sick. Well they deep fried them and made them hard as hell .That’s bad for business even though most of what I order is good. Stuff like that makes me want to order from somewhere else.

First time ordering from this place. Get home to dig in. As soon as I dig in there’s a stand of HAIR in my food. I’m literally pissed off cause it wasn’t mine. Call the place up lady is unapologetic and ask me if I want a return. So I have to leave my home get my money with no apology. Mind you when I go in there to get my money no gloves, wiped her hand on her clothes handed me money and went back to cooking. i was actually relieved to not eat the food. i will NEVER go back!! who ever said this place was a 4.0 lied through there teeth.

Absolutely bland. No flavor to anything. The shrimp fried rice seemed like just rice-a-roni mixed with some vegetables and a couple shrimp thrown in. The general two’s wasn’t spicy or sweet. It just had no flavor whatsoever. The steamed dumplings tasted like no pork and only green onion.
On the positive side, the egg rolls were huge and tasted fantastic. There was a good amount of shrimp in whatever I ordered with shrimp which usually is a problem. But I got crazy good portion sizes all around.
I really just wished I liked the flavor.

So they use “menufy” for delivery orders. It had a wrong address for me, so I edited the address when I made my order, but the restaurant never got the update and the food went to the wrong house. I finally went to pick up food myself. The food was bland and tasted like the cooking oil was sour and over used. Yuck. Nasty after taste in everything. Barely edible and tossed 85% of it into the trash. Go elsewhere. “Great Wall” in Chichester has far better food. I can’t understand how this place is rated 4 stars. It’s closer to 1.5 stars for taste and service.

My parents use to go here when I was a kid and the food was good. First time going here since I moved back and it is still top notch food. Chunks of veggies and meat wrapped in rich flavor. It’s great affordable chinese food you can walk to that is and has been a Delco staple.

This is our go to Family Chinese Food place. We always order the family meal because you get a bang for your buck. We ordered our food and one item was forgotten. At the time, I was irritated, but we ended up getting another item in our order that made up for it. The owner did call us about our forgotten item but, we werent going to come all the back to get it. We decided to order again about a month later. To our surprise, the owner remembered our forgotten item and made sure, we got it this time. I was really shocked. Thank you.
