Placed an order online and have both confirmation email of payment as well as bank statement confirmation of payment. One of the ladies called to tell me my payment did not go through and that I needed to come in to pay ahead of time. I stated how I had confirmation stating that my order was paid for. The lady got aggressive over the phone essentially calling me a liar before blatantly hanging up on me followed by not answering the phone when I tried to call back. Long story short, I paid $44.20 for food I didn’t get. This place essentially robbed me, extremely poor customer service, poor business management and disgraceful.

Of the 8 dishes we ordered only 2 were somewhat edible. I wish I could give zero stars all the way down the list. However I had to give at least one in order to add details to my review. This place is awful. Before ordering read all the reviews. We ordered several entrees and appetizers. Chicken and beef meat on skewers was dry and tough. Shrimp was not deveined. Fried rice was chewy because it was severely undercooked. Frozen vegetables in fried rice were hard and cardboard tasting. My chicken curry was 10% chicken and 90%onions most of the onions were not cooked at all. The pieces were as thick as apple slices. This restaurant disrespects the community that supports. Stay away.

Definitely used to be great. I would really think twice before stopping here. I have been a loyal customer. But now the service and food is terrible. Order made wrong and they blamed it on me. Im not the type of person to argue with anyone preparing my food so I took it a lesson learned and will NEVER go back.

This used to be my go to Chinese. Its only been 7 or 8 months. We ordered today. My chow mein fun was so salty it wasn’t edible. The steamed dumplings were rubbery. The white rice was mushy. And since when is the fried rice yellow? 50$ for an appetizer and 2 meals with a side of white rice….

We ordered a few variety of things, the mongolian beef had 80 percent onions and 20 percent beef. The fried rice was bland, the orange chicken was dry, the lo mien was mid and the appetizer tray had some wonton that looked like they’ve been double fried and the meat inside was dry, the eggroll was greasy. Sorry but this will be my first and my last.

My family was looking for a Chinese restaurant and we looked up and found this place now at first I was really nervous because I was reading all the one star reviews but honestly I think the just got bad luck cause we sat there even tho it’s a carry out place we ate and the lady was really nice and sweet and they even gave us free fresh donuts. Moral of this story is don’t judge a book by it’s cover because I really like the food.

I had lunch here at Golden Eggroll my total was 19.38 I gave 1.5 tip which should have totalled 20.88. On my account they changed me 24.38. I took my reciet and record of the transaction that was updated to what they charged me in to speak with the manager. She was hostel in the beginning after asking her to not raise her voice at me she stated I was a liar and never come to her business again. I told her this was a shame because the food was actually pretty good and all of this was for 3.5 that was taken unlawfully which is stealing.
I will never go there again and I will always tell people to check their statements if using a debit card…..
01/30/26: It took you guys 6mos later to respond. I am a creature of habit I get one thing off of the Chinese menu and that’s any store, so NO I never ordered chillies sauce or whatever you guys are trying to justify your mistake. Bad business and y’all should be ashamed of yourselves. If I got hostile it wasn’t until after the cashier called me a liar. Also, you said I was with someone different wrong again. He was the same man. Lol. I pray that your business goes no where until y’all treat people that come in to your establishment with respect. I bet tou thought when you wrote your reply 6 mo after I wrote my complaint you thought I wouldn’t reply back. STOP TRYING TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE…..

Supremely underrated if you like orange or sesame chicken, fried rice & egg rolls. I crave this all the time. I grew up eating this in the 90’s & 00’s growing up in Lotawana and make trips back out to Blue Springs for it.

Went in yesterday afternoon and ordered a regular shrimp fried rice a little spicy. Well when I got home to eat it the rice was soft and mushy. I’ve ordered from here many times since moving to Blue Springs and never had this problem. I called the restaurant back and spoke with a manager (I couldn’t go back to restaurant as my husband had left to work with the vehicle) who was nice and told me to take container back up there tomorrow (which is now today) and tell them what was wrong. Well I am not one for showing displeasure but when I tasted the batch they remade it tasted exactly the same. Mushy. I took it anyways and left because I didn’t feel like going through the hassle of waiting again or explaining again. You can look at the clumps of rice and tell they are stuck together by the mush. I think I will have to find another Chinese restaurant at this point.
