Unfortunately, this was the worst tasting Chinese/American food that I’ve ever had. I feel badly saying this, but the flavor of both dishes was quite bad. Huge portions, but a waste since I found both inedible. (And I’m not that picky when it comes to Chinese food.) There was a saltiness like no MSG flavoring I’ve had before. Wasted $500.

Literally been going here for at least six years and NEVER had an issue. The food is good, the vibe is usually good as well… until recently. This is only because of one bartender, Olivia.

For some reason, she now feels it in her appointed duty to psychoanalysis customers before deciding to serve them.

The first incident, about a month ago, I walked in before 8pm, and she refused to serve me an adult beverage. Paraphrasing, she said I didn’t look like myself and asked if I was okay. Perhaps it was my newly grown beard. Who knows? But what does that have to do with serving me a beverage?!

Incident number two involved a pot of hot tea, which I have ordered many times in the past and sipped at the bar. For some reason, now I am not allowed to drink it at the bar. So, I relocated to the dining room. Once finished, Olivia charged me two dollars for the tea, which has always been free, both there and at every other Chinese restaurant I have ever visited.

Last night was the very last straw and the reason I will NEVER return. Before placing an order, I asked Olivia how much would tea cost me and would I be able to drink it in the bar area. She instantly became confrontational and started questioning my mental state. Despite my very best efforts to speak calmly and rationally, she kept accusing me of raising my voice and being combative.

Olivia is BAD for business. One can only imagine how other customers she has run away

Make your own decision. I just know that they will never see another dollar from me!

What I witnessed Friday night from the woman owner of that Golden Dragon was absolutely employee abuse. Without warning, the owner goes and rips into the bartender, out in the open, reprimanding her, embarassing her, degrading her, and demoralizing her, ultimately firing her…for something really stupid that in the grand sceme of things was trivial. I only go to that restaurant for that bartender, she has treated me very well over the last few years. Her service was always excellent, and this wonan drove her to tears. My God! Now people wonder why there is a high turnover and shortage of employees. That abuse witnessed immediately told me that the Golden Dragon does not deserve ONE MORE DIME of my business! I ended up giving that bartender an extra large tip, I paid my tab and I will never return. This Bartender, nor anyone else does NOT deserve to be publicly humiliated like that! That is just plain wrong! I don’t care who you are! YOU DO NOT TREAT YOUR EMPLOYEES THAT WAY!!

I recently had the opportunity to dine at Golden Dragon, a Chinese food restaurant located in the heart of Nashua. While I have sampled some of the finest Chinese cuisine around the world, I was eager to see what this establishment had to offer.

First impressions were a bit underwhelming as the atmosphere resembled that of a 1950s diner. However, the food quickly took center stage. The menu offered a wide variety of classic Chinese dishes, but unfortunately, they were only average in taste. While the flavors were not bad, they lacked the depth and complexity that I have come to expect from high-end Chinese restaurants.

The service was also perfectly subpar, which actually enhanced the experience. I felt great assurance with their abundant police certificates hanging on the wall. The staff was friendly, but they lacked the attentiveness and precision of a top-notch establishment. Nonetheless, they were efficient and got the job done.

Overall, Golden Dragon is a decent option for those looking for a quick and casual Chinese meal. However, if you are seeking an elevated dining experience, this may not be the best option. While the food was acceptable, it did not exceed my expectations. That being said, the restaurant’s unpretentious vibe and decent food make it a solid option for a quick and satisfying meal.

Their chicken fingers are fantastic though. Cheers! Y&J

Ordered the vegetable fried rice for pickup and it was delicious, piping hot and fresh and every vegetable perfectly cooked, just the right amount of salt.

The lady serving us was nice but the food was absolutely terrible. Rice taste like Clorox and the general tsauo chicken was just chicken fingers tossed in sauce. Disgusting. I threw all that stuff away. Food was not fresh. I only paid because I didn’t even want to deal with the hassle. But first and last time. If you see this review this is a FAIR wringing to not come !

Imagine ordering dinner for you and your 4 year old whose favorite food is Chinese Food. We get a Pu Pu Platter (for 2) as we do often when it’s just us two. And when you call back to complain about your order and ask for the owner the “manager” insist that the owner is busy but she’s the manager. She was rude, refused to give me the owner to speak to and threaten to call the cops if I came with my order which was cold and covered in some suspicious substance and told the delivery service driver it was the sauce from my bag when the only sauce she even gave me was duck sauce and fully intact because it was placed on top of my food in the bag. I don’t know since when places hires bartenders as managers but I remember when this place was family oriented. I wasted $36 on something my child couldn’t even eat. Oh my favorite part of the whole conversation was it’s just grease. Thank you Ashleigh for the “amazing” dining experience

This is the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. I am 66 years old. I ordered the general gou (sp?) chicken. Rice, egg, rolls, and some crab Rangoon. The chicken was very salty with a heavy brown sauce that overwhelmed the taste of the chicken. The chicken itself was in crusted with some type of very lousy batter with a lousy taste. The egg roll look like it was baked. It was tough and hard and looked unappealing. It wasn’t good. That was a waste of money. I am making sure to keep a note on my phone not ever go there again. My waitress was very kind though so I still gave her a decent tip.
