We visited on 1/12/26. The area where they put the “clean” plates was nasty and the plates themselves did not appear to actually be clean. Most had some orange colored remnant of food on the plate surface. Over where the main buffet starts there was a white plastic tub in a metal sink behind the buffet that had raw meat inside. I saw this when the lid to the tub came off and fell into the floor. The lady who retrieved the lid when it fell just propped it up in the floor against that sink and some other metal object. The food was extremely low quality and all of the available booth’s seats had crumbs and other food particles all over them. I don’t see how this kind of nastiness has gone unnoticed. We will not ever go back, yuck!

Decided to give this place a try for the breakfast buffet and was left disappointed. The setup was nice but they failed to keep any food out for patrons. I saw multiple staff members working with food without using gloves, especially the person making omelettes. I ordered an omelette with no cheese and the gentleman had no gloves on adding items to the dish, he accidentally added cheese to the omelette and went in the pan bare handed to try to scrape it out.
I’m all about second chances though but would honestly only visit if somebody else wanted to but me, I’ll skip if it is my decision.

We visit the Jonesboro Golden Corral from time to time and sometimes it’s hot and fresh, sometimes not. This visit was decent. Our waitress was amazing! Busy when we got there so the messy floor was kind of understandable. One of our chairs was broken, back falling off. When we first came in and went to the register to pay, the person that rang us up was very preoccupied. I then noticed she was playing games on her phone, which would explain why she couldn’t be bothered to make any eye contact or engage whatsoever. Since she was wearing a mask, I couldn’t say if she even smiled.

We visited 1/30/26 at 6 pm. There was no mashed potatoes, no pizza, no rolls, no meat loaf and all the cut meat was dried out from being under heat lamps for way to long. At 6:40 pm they put out some potatoes and nothing else that was out. The place was dirty. My son couldn’t use the bathroom because it was disgusting. The management is definitely not doing there job we will not be eating here again.

I was surprised at the affordable price for lunch. I took my grandparents and it was only $9.99 for theirs with senior early bird or something like that and mine was $12ish. Which is still cheap. But I’d rather see the price bump up a little and the food quality improve.
Edited to add: Dinner Buffet on Saturday was much better! Sirloin was very decent quality steak and the cook did a great job on the grill. Very much worth the $16.99 and sirloin that is just as good as Coltons or any other restaurant…

My fiancee and I went on a Thursday and everything was surprisingly good! The food we got was fairly hit or miss, but I will say I was pleasantly surprised by the steak most of all. Regardless, there were tons of options and everything was being rotated out very quickly since it was pretty busy.
Unfortunately though, where we were seated was not great and there probably shouldn’t even be a table there. People were constantly walking between us and another table and literally everyone was bumping into me while I was trying to eat. It was also very loud, but that’s to be expected with how busy it was. Otherwise everything looked very nice and clean. All of the staff we talked to was nice as well, even if our waitress was a little inattentive; we ended up having to ask for refills on our waters from a girl cleaning the table next to ours because we hadn’t seen or heard from our waitress until we got seated.
Overall though, it was a pretty good experience, we felt like we got what we paid for and there was enough of a selection to skip over the not so great stuff. We’ll probably be back again when it’s not quite so busy!

The buffet was really nice. They had a lot of food to choose from, and the staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, the man behind the grill was not trained well at all. I went in the first time to order a medium rare steak and he gave me a well done steak. I figured he was just busy, so I didn’t blame him. The next time I ordered a medium rare steak, he gave me this. I literally seen him just throw this steak on the grill and hand it to me seconds later. I’m fine with a rare steak, but this steak is raw.

Food was pretty good better than expected actually. Didn’t have and steak cooked was a wait time if you wanted steak. Ice cream machine was down so no go on that. Overall pretty good meal. Definitely could do much better at keeping food stocked up tho. How do you run out of mashed potatoes at a buffet lol.

Im not a fan of golden corral but my husband has been wanting to go and i finally decided let’s go have lunch and our server was great but the food wasnt that great we ate half our plates which only had a couple things on it mind tou not a whole plate and tried something different same results but I also noticed a hair in my food and was completely grossed out by it. this is exactly why I dont bother with this place never had a good experience with any location where the restaurant looks a mess the food is horrible or theirs a hair in my food not gunna do that again

The waitress we had was wonderful. The food is usually good. Sometimes they are a little slow about putting out more food when something runs out. I like the dessert options.
