Food was all over the floor and the buffet area. The dessert station looked as though it had been ransacked. I felt uncomfortable eating in general and only tried things the team members were bringing directly from the kitchen. One of those items was their mac and cheese and even coming from the kitchen was luke warm at best. That raises the question on their food handling and holding practices. Food should be kept at the proper temperature otherwise you are going to make a lot of people very sick. Also on a whim tried one of their eclairs and it was still frozen.
I also watched our server grabbing dirty dishes off tables and then touching items on our tables. Cross contamination should really be a focus. I barely had a plate of food and felt so disgusted seeing this.
I did see a manager walk up to a table next to us and speak to them but we were not table touched by a manager. Called today at 11am and was told there was no manager and to call back later. I did so and spoke to Jim who asked if I had requested to speak to a manager during my visit last night, i stated no and his response was “well I’m not really sure what you’d like me to do” at which point i realized he was never going to resolve anything or make up for a horrible experience.
It’s not my responsibility to point out things that are happening in your place of business. I did see the same manager sitting at a table eating as we left, which is a horrible look for a manager to be eating in a dining room that looks the way it did. By far one of the worst experiences I have ever had, charging $45 dollars for that is laughable.
First, with our paid kids meal, we did not receive the kids cup that was supposed to be included. We only realized this halfway through our meal after reviewing the receipt and had to request the drink at that point. This should have been provided at the time of purchase.
The cleanliness of the restaurant was unacceptable. The walls were visibly dirty, and the bathroom was partially out of order and extremely unsanitary. It was so filthy that I did not feel comfortable using the changing table to change my baby’s diaper. No parent should feel that way in a public restaurant.
Additionally, the buffet area was in terrible condition. Spilled food was not cleaned up, surfaces were dirty, and the floors were unkempt. The food selection itself was disappointing — items were picked over, not being rotated, and appeared old and skimpy. It was unappetizing to the point that I barely ate and completely lost my appetite.
Overall, I feel that I wasted both my time and money making the drive and dining at this location. The experience was far below acceptable standards. I will not be returning.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously so other families do not have a similar experience.
We were seated at a dirty table with dirty seats and had to ask someone to clean it. That alone says a lot about the level of care and management. The restaurant was extremely overcrowded, yet the buffet barely had any food out. For a buffet, that’s unacceptable. Multiple sections were empty, almost all the plates were gone, and the soda was completely flat. On top of that, the floors were filthy. The entire place felt unclean and poorly maintained.
After seeing the lack of food and overall conditions, we asked for a refund. Instead of acknowledging the obvious issues, the manager/associate tried to argue that because we took a bite of the food, he could only offer half back. That’s ridiculous. We shouldn’t have had to debate for a full refund when the restaurant clearly wasn’t operating properly. We basically had to cause a scene just to get our money back.
This location is disorganized, unsanitary, and poorly run. I would strongly suggest management reevaluate how this restaurant is being handled. I will not be returning.
open in the morning with a breakfast buffet as well as for lunch and supper with many meat choices, vegetables, as well as soups and salads. It also has a good selection of desserts and ice cream to please the children and let’s not forget the cotton candy who doesn’t love that. It has been an enjoyable experience any of the times we have gone there . We don’t go there much because we have to drive a couple hours to get there but it’s been worth it.
