Golden Corral, unfortunately, fell short of our expectations. The musty smell and overall uncleanliness of the building were disappointing. While the food was acceptable, it didn’t stand out. The service was decent, but the drink servers seemed disengaged, consistently getting multiple people’s orders wrong. Considering the price, the experience was underwhelming. This visit was an exception to the positive experiences we’ve had with other Golden Corral locations.

After checking on pricing online and even on their own signs when we arrived, we were very upset when we were informed that our cost at 10:30am Sunday morning on 10/09/2022 for nearly $18 per person after posting $10.99 on their site and again, in person for prior to 11am.

The music at this place was terribly chosen – whomever was deciding the music must have been going through a hard time. A fat man feels bad enough stuffing himself to the point he can’t get up at a Golden Corral – but when halfway through my second plate of food I am sitting alone and hear Passenger’s “Let her go” playing over the speakers, while watching other families and kids enjoying themselves – it brings some sort of emotional menagerie to my senses that’s hard to explain, but it isn’t good.

The server was great in our section. He had lots of energy. He talked with everyone. His niece and family were dining there that night but stayed focused on all the other customers. He asked to Refill or sodas before they were empty. He cleaned the plates away as soon as we set them to the side.
