I really had high hopes returning to a Golden Corral since the pandemic. I was horribly disappointed. First, we had to walk the whole restaurant to find a clean table. Then, 98% of the food was cold and looked like it was sitting for hours. Even the steak was just sitting on the cold side of the flattop grill and served liked that. Only thing I got that was hot and surprisingly good was the pulled pork. Definitely not worth $62 for 3 people. We will not be returning.

My family (4) got there on Sunday at about 4. It was very busy but some tables were empty. The problem is there were no clean tables. When we finally were able to get a table cleared. The food was okay. I immediately felt sick after eating. I didn’t even get to my car before I threw up everything I ate in the last 7 years. Never again.

Went here for my 9 y/o bday. He went to his first buffet at golden corral in Gurnee last month and chose this for his bday meal because he loved it! This location wasn’t as good, unfortunately. Upon walking in we had trouble finding a table, there was not one clean and empty for our family of 6. So we walked into the area that has the doors. There were probably 4 tables in there that needed to be cleaned off but otherwise would fit us. A worker came and said “you can’t sit in there” I asked her where we should sit as there are no tables, and she again said we can’t sit there and there are tables over there (and pointed) I said all those tables are full of dirty dishes, and she said we could wait til it’s cleaned off. So we did. Apparently there was no staff to clean off brunch (we got there at 440) because the table had breakfast items still on their plates. Another lady I believe her name was Sarah came apologized and cleaned our table, said it was shift change and that’s why they’re behind. She was very nice and came back and got our drink orders. The buffet was pretty well stocked. Mostly fresh items. Can’t complain. The dessert area was a mess, I’m sure kids are to blame for that though. Overall it was an ok meal. Not worth the price nor travel time but my son liked it but said next year he’s picking somewhere else. Some workers can use an attitude adjustment but some are great.

Not as nice as I thought it was going to be. Food was lukewarm. Most of the food was good but this chain doesn’t have as much food as it used too. Flies buzzing around the dessert area. Too many kids working there who don’t know how to keep stations clean. Sweep your parking lot!

Food quality is good(has maintained through the years) as far as fresh and hot but taste has definitely changed in the last few years, not as tasty it’s just food! For one, there rolls are NOT the same. Can’t find honey butter any more! A lot of the food seems microwaved as well. The biggest change is the price! Price has went up but the food quality hasn’t.

I’ve been very happy with it since the reopening. I took my kids right at the beginning of lunch time(11:30a) this past Saturday, and the selection was excellent. We try to make it here at least once a month.

Chicken was harder than a rock and inedible. Pizza was absolutely disgusting. Churros had zero taste. Tables were dirty and we had to clean it ourselves. Not a vast selection of food at all. I won’t be returning
