I came back a second time because my girlfriend and her sister and husband wanted to come here to eat. The first time I came here I didn’t like the food, as I thought the coleslaw was way too watery and basically the food went downhill from there. In trying it again, I have to say the food was better than expected. The pot roast was fairly good, they always have a lot of fried chicken on hand, and the mashed potatoes were pretty good. Dessert was okay. They had steak and they served at medium rare had a nice charcoal taste to it. If you want to eat a lot of food for what you pay this would be a place to go. It’s not fine dining, but once in a while it’s not bad. And I probably will go back

Very warm inside restaurant. Hotter outside but not by much. Went before 4pm on Wednesday. Vegetables & salad bar had nothing on them worth a 2nd spoon full. Broiled chicken dry. Fish tasteless. Had very good hamburger sliders, though. Servers were great & attentive.

They don’t really season the greens and cabbage…a little bland. I’m not sure about the beans and other veggies. My son was a little miffed with his dad so excuse the attitude. We actually enjoyed eating there. We got there when they opened (so the food was very fresh) and there’s an older lady that works out front with salt and pepper hair that she pulls up in a bun. Very sweet lady with a beautiful smile, she never meets a stranger. Our waitress was sweet but I didn’t get or remember any names . Make sure you eat the fried Swai. My husband said the chicken was good. I wished they had real bacon bits and sliced pickles for my salad but I ate a spear and got over it . Everyone we encountered that worked there were really nice and gave us a smile.

We visited there while traveling to Tennessee today. The food is at best marginal and was lacking in flavor and originality. The service and staff however were excellent. I wish I could say something good about the food but I just can’t muster anything with any kind of sincerity.

Even though I live way closer to Kingsport location, the Golden corral in Johnson City is millions of times better! Definitely worth the drive because the food and service is so much better plus it’s way cleaner. I love their Sunday buffet. Lots of choices.

Always a good experience and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Lots of good food and always fresh. Salad is really fresh and very well organized, the station is always nice and clean as well. Gotta love the desserts too, the carrot cake is super good and the ice cream is always nice and cold. Good place to go get a quick meal with out busting the budget.

The food is Excellent and so is the service. The steaks are really good and their barbeque Ribs & Shrimp are really good too. Their rolls melt in your mouth. The only thing I didn’t like was the cornbread muffins Are Sweet and I do not like sweet cornbread. But that isn’t going to stop me from going back.

We eat here about once a week and it is always clean with abundant fresh food. On July 4th, I treated myself to a hot dog and absolutely could not believe my taste buds. Thick, juicy hot dog that I almost would have sworn was cooked on a grill, served on a buttery bun. Made my day since I couldn’t have a cookout!
