Plenty of seating – we actually got a nice big table next to the desserts. Our server was great – very attentive and great sense of humor. It’s Golden Corral, they got a little bit of everything, but at this one, the burgers stood out. The guy manning the burger grill asked me what I wanted – a medium rare burger with no cheese, and that’s exactly what I got, PERFECT. Thre some of their BBQ Hot Sauce on it and it was delish also enjoyed their pork chops – well cooked and most importantly, juicy. The meatloaf was pretty good too. Overall a great lunch, A+

Haven’t been to GC in ages, so I was pleasantly surprised it was good as I remembered. The salad bar was the star for me. They even have Green Goddess dressing iykyk. Meatloaf and steak very tasty.

I am writing to file 1 of many formal complaints regarding an incident of racial profiling and poor customer service that occurred at your 5722 Cypress Garden Blvd, Winter Haven, Florida location on October 21, 2025, at approximately 1:22 p.m.
After attending a retirement seminar that was held at your restaurant, I went to the buffet area to eat. While dining I was approached by a staff member who accused me of not paying for my meal and stated, “You can’t eat for free.” I immediately explained that I had already paid. At no point did she ask to see my receipt, nor did she approach anyone else in the same manner. I was disrespected & humiliated by this experience. I informed the manager of this issue & he just smirked in a dismissive manner. I urge you not to dine at this restaurant if you are a person that values respect & professionalism. Target had to find out the hard way & so will other businesses that take our dollars for granted. I was and still is humiliated and for what?

Food was hot and fresh. Steaks came out really good. Grill guy was nice. Server Lacie was very attentive. Desserts tasted fresh and tasty. Manager with a Chicago Bears lanyard was nice. Helped me get more of something. Very nice experience! Will go again next time in this area (from Broward).

We paid 65$ for 3 kids 2 adults on the lunch menu. I am actually reviewing this place while still sitting here that is how disappointing it is. Nothing looked appealing either dried out or that it was sitting too long. I only had one plate of just pot roast with a roll, the pot roast looked good at first but the more you ate it the drier it got. The bread I had picked the softest roll and it was still hard. The person who was supposed to refill our drinks Arevik came twice once when we first sat down then when we were about to leave she was no where to be seen when we needed drinks refilled. I did inspect my plate when I got it from the plate section and it did not seem dirty and I did not see any German roaches but I did see several flies. I would highly recommend skipping this location. I added in a picture of the food my husband had as even he seemed to be unhappy with the choices.

Golden Corral for the most part is pretty good. Some are better than others. I gave this 3 stars because of inconsistent quality. They didn’t have fried fish and all Golden Corrals do but they didn’t. The popcorn shrimp was great on the first batch but the second batch was overcooked, which they are notorious for. The managers ought to care enough to make sure the food is the best it can be. The fried chicken was slightly scorched because of old grease.

I wish these buffet places would serve you at buffet line OR advise remind the adults especially those with children to always get a clean plate for any additional trips to the buffet and for adults to assist children! For the price you pay they should be able to afford to have someone serving you at the buffet.

It’s different than 5 years ago they don’t sit you any more and you have to get your drinks and utensils your self unless the one in winter haven its different but it was clean fresh salad good variety in buffet bar.
