Well after a good drive and a little shopping nearby we decided to go eat at Golden Corral. Usually a safe bet. Foods usually consistent and always fills you up. That was the thought and it was more than the truth. This Golden Corral was a step up from the rest. Better staff, service, and quality of food. The steak was delicious, the shrimp fresh and tasty, the fried fish was phenomenal, and the rest of the buffet was grand. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience at a restaurant. A real winner. My family loves to go here. When you go here often the waitresses recognize you and they remember you. I have a severe food allergy and she remembers that I ask for A1 steak sauce.

The service was great but the food has gone downhill! The salad bar had Flys on the vegetables and the cauliflower had mold on it. The dessert bar was not stocked and it had a very bad odor in front of it. The hot bar was not good at all. We went for lunch. I sure hope dinner was better. It was a definite letdown compared to what it used to be.

Friendly helpful waitress, Tiffany, asked us several times if everything was ok or needed anything! Crab salad, and spaghetti needed some taste. Lady in the salad area unfriendly. Food pretty good!

We went here for our 10 yr anniversary instead of logans this time. It was the best meal I’ve ever ate at a golden corral in my life. The Food was very fresh n hot n delicious. My only complaint is they need better cleaner looking plates that aren’t staind n broken

Most of the food was aweful compared to Kingsport Golden Corral, stood in line forever it was backed up all the way out the door with only one side open. Everything looked decent but definitely not worth the wait or the pay. Our waitress was very sweet. I just think they could do a little better.

The food sucks! People go here for the bar. But I’ve been here twice and both times, the food sucked and the ice cream machine didn’t work and hadn’t been working for MONTHS. I went last year and this year, it’s been down a long time now. Some of the awful looking people coming in and all around the food, makes you disgusted enough to leave in which we actually did. The sweets section sucked, there wasn’t anything appetizing.

Not to busy now. Some tables are dirty. Bathroom could be cleaner. Some food on the buffet seemed like it was sitting out for a while. Some of it was cold. The ribs were to hard to eat from being over cooked or just setting out to long. Waitress did her job was very nice. Bread pudding was dried out. Bourbon chicken was dried out . Sliced ham was good. Pot Roast looked over cooked .Mashed potatoes were good gravey was good. Mushrooms were good.

Came around 8pm, which is sort-of close to closing but not quite. The restaurant was quiet with only a few people, so the food options were limited and old. Not necessarily the restaurants fault. Still, the food tasted fine. I would have liked to see more options aside from salads and a few meats. Ham was sitting and got cold, but the steaks were pretty well cooked. Rolls were excellent and so was the mac and cheese. I didn’t try too much from the dessert bar, but it was interesting how many options there were. The staff made up for the quality of the food. One of the nicest waitresses we’ve ever had. Not sure if I would come back, but if you’re a fan of Golden Corral then this restaurant is a good place to be.
