My friends and I had dinner at Gánh Truly Vietnamese Cuisine on Hai Bà Trưng, and we ended up really enjoying the experience. We ordered quite a variety of dishes, from the fried sticky rice and Nem Nướng with bún, to the special appetizer platter, prawn salad, and boiled pork with vegetables and rice paper. Every dish came out fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
The Gỏi cá Mai (raw fish salad) was a standout for us, light, refreshing, and packed with flavor. Even the drinks like the detox juice, fresh coconuts, and ice tea were enjoyable and paired well with the food.
Overall, it’s definitely on the slightly premium side when it comes to pricing, but the taste and quality made it worth it especially being in district 1. A nice place to enjoy authentic Vietnamese food in a comfortable setting, especially when you’re with good company.

This is not Vietnamese food because Vietnamese food is tasty! The food is too expensive for the lack of taste. everyone is rushed here – its just a trap for tourists.
They pushed us to ask for the bill when we were actually waited for the food .

I ordered bánh hỏi nem mía and nem nướng Nha Trang, assuming they were two different dishes. When the food arrived, it turned out to be the same nem, and no one informed me beforehand.
When I raised the issue, the staff said they don’t have nem mía. After I pointed it out directly on their own menu, they offered to “redo” it by replacing the sugarcane with lemongrass. That’s not how the dish works. Nem mía has to be grilled with sugarcane from the start — you can’t just swap it afterward.
For a place that advertises itself as “truly Vietnamese cuisine”, this was very disappointing. Won’t be coming back.

Coming to Vietnamese restaurant #ganhquant, we cannot miss this dish #nemnuongnhatrang. It is a delicious and typical dish of the restaurant. The restaurant’s menu has many dishes for you to choose from. According to my experience, every dish is delicious and eye-catching, the #cabodanuong dish is also very delicious, the #musuachienmam dish is very delicious. All dishes taste like home #dacsannhatrang. The staff were extremely cheerful and very hospitable.
