IDK how the recent reviews are so positive, I didn’t have the same experience. They didn’t have any seafood, no sushi and no hibachi chef. The buffet was your basic cheap chinese cuisine, I picked through the chicken to find decent looking peices that were still a disappointment, inconsistent texture, hard chunks, super saturated in sauce or bone dry. Their posted sanitation score was 82, I should have walked out when I saw that. I won’t eat here again unless everything in town is closed. Maybe those people giving great reviews are so accustomed to mediocre quality they actually think this is good quality. I can’t make sense of it.

Golden City is amazing. I hate that I hadn’t been sooner. We had the pleasure of having Khadijah as our waitress. She was very sweet, polite, and accommodating. She does her job well! This restaurant was is clean and well maintained. We were seated promptly, had drinks within 3 minutes and were refilled multiple times without being asked, the buffet was filled with fresh yummy food, and the hibachi was to die for! The pictured dish was around $10 and was enough food to be split between adults or for an additional meal. I will definitely be back to Golden City and I look forward to eating there again soon!

Normally they have great service and food but today when we tried to order the cooks refused to add broccoli, and then tried telling us they can’t take out the onions. The waiter was so nice and he tried to talk to them but apparently they just screamed at him and sent the food out how they wanted it not me…smh…I asked to speak to a manage and was told he left for a few hours…but your restaurant cooks are horrible you should be here for the customers. The portions are way small not like usually and when asked about it no answer…so yea we want be back! 12 dollars and it took forever to cook. We will pass…..

The food, at 5:00, is cold! They have hot water steaming underneath the food and the bar appears hot but don’t be fooled. After complaining multiple times, I intentionally went to the “steaming hot food” and it was cold also. The waitress said that other customers have complained too. Your best bet is to order take out and this way your food will have the correct temperature. The tea was good though.
