My first experience at Golden China Restaurant was very positive. My friends and I arrived for lunch and were immediately seated. The host /waiter was professional but not overly inviting. No real problem with that. We country folk are way to accustomed to the southern charm being laid on thick. The lunch menu offered a nice selection. Orders arrived piping hot and absolutely delicious. We all couldn’t help stuffing our faces. Overall, the meal was a little pricey for lunch @ $46+ but the taste, service, and quality made it worth every dime.

Oct 2024-I have been coming here for years and always been pleased with my meals. I have tried the soups, spring rolls, shrimp & chicken dishes but my favorite is the Mongolian Beef! Beef is always tender, sauce is flavorful plus a blend of mixed veggies. Service is always on point!

My partner and I stopped in on a Saturday evening. Shared a couple spring rolls, crab rangoons and Roasted Pork LoMein. The crab rangoons had a teaspoon of filling in such a large wrapper! Still delish. The LoMein lacked flavor and the pork didn’t taste like pork! Very weird flavor! At the end of our dinner my partner saw a huge roach run across the floor. Disappointing.

My first time here want be my last. I had the Chicken with Garlic Sauce and white rice. It was Cooked to perfection. I really enjoyed it. I also got some egg drop soup to go. It was really good. The waiter was nice and very attentive.

Unfortunately I am just not a fan, I placed a lunch order of 2 general Tso chicken and 2 vegetables egg rolls and my total was $30 for neither of us to like our food and my boyfriend is not picky. The egg roll wasn’t really good and the rice didn’t give fried rice. It’s a very soft soggy texture and looks like wheat rice. The chicken is okay but overall I’m very disappointed.

We spent $62 on food that ended up straight in the trash. The food had no seasoning, no salt, and absolutely no flavor. The fried chicken was soggy, and we weren’t even sure it was fully cooked. We ordered based on the good reviews, but after tasting the food and being so disappointed, we went back and noticed the negative reviews that said exactly what we’re saying now. Unfortunately, we’ll never order from this place again

Update: My family came in on a Sunday. The food was good. I love water the water here is so good and they got the good ice.
We came in on a Saturday night it wasn’t too busy. Sam was our waiter he was awesome. Shortly after we ordered our soup and egg roll came out. He made sure we got excellent service. The food is delicious. My daughter and I went for the family special which includes two bowls of soup (wonton, hot and sour, our egg drop) we loved the wonton soup it comes with crispy wontons and two dumplings, two pork egg rolls, and two entrees of your choice from the list on the back of the menu. The sweet tea is really good and you can have it served with fresh lemon.
