Worst golden chick I’ve been to so far. To the employees credit even though I had to wait to get service, i was acknowledged and informed that i would be helped soon; my 3 main issues are as follows (in no specific order): the Pepsi did not taste right i just threw the drink away, 2) the front door was locked in violation of fire code, and when I brought it to their attention she said “oh I forgot to unlock it,” 3) the bread roll was terrible, my favourite thing from golden chick is the bread….. It was however clean and staffed by respectful and attentive workers .

Ive never had such a bad experience here. The male employee taking my order was not attentive and made us feel like we were bothering him. After having a conversation about a certain meal he still rang me up for the wrong items. Which I didn’t realize until I got home 20 min later. We drove from sinton to spend $50+ on food we couldn’t even enjoy. My fish was literally drenched in gravy. I never asked for fish with gravy. I wanted tenders. I’ve been calling to try to talk to a manager for days now and either no-one answers or it rings then goes to busy. I wish I could say I’d go back. I’m just soo disappointed. This was one of my fave places to eat. Hence driving 40 min round trip for this place.

Worst service ever still waiting on my max n cheese I never received but the employees checked my bag and told me it was there I told them it wasn’t and they didn’t replace but told me I took it out because they did put it in my bag. Highly disappointed not worth an argument for $4 but worst service ever

Now open . Improvement is impressive . Still have to say . Our corn nuggets are a total treat to say the least , this last order was under par ( slightly under cook ) . The service was excellent ( intercom system error) … Nevertheless chicken was faabulous nice taste , color , and crunch , ( love the crunch ) tasty mashed potatoes with creamy gravy MMM . Soda had the right taste nice and icy .

The best tenders I have ever tasted. Great taste, Always fresh and hot. Great fries not soggy or cold and nice and soft biscuits. Their fried chicken tried once, very good too, but I prefer the tenders.

I purchased a four piece chicken tender dinner from the Golden Chick in robstown. The staff was quick to cut me off on order, when I open the box the gravy was about a quarter of the container, the roll was hard, the fries were cold, they only filled my soda cup halfway up. I called the number on the receipt that says to call for a good or sad experience and that number kept hanging up on me. I called the store and spoke to the manager, when I told the manager that the gravy was a quarter of a container he told me it was an 8 oz container and that they only gave 6 oz of gravy. I explained to the manager that if the containers 8 oz half of a container is 4 oz and a quarter of a container is 2 oz. He had nothing to explain why the role was hard or the fries were cold or why I only got half of a soda. For $10 this is ridiculous. He told me he would give me a refund if I brought back the product. I am a traveling nurse by the time I realized how short amount of food I had I was 35 minutes away. I will be in that area in 7 days and he proceeded to tell me to hold on to the food for 7 days and bring it back to him for a refund. This location puts Golden Chick restaurants to shame. For a company that has such great food and for this location to perform like this and hurt the reputation is unheard of. Very disappointed. Thanks
