On 1/5/2026 around 9:00pm, this location has disgust me to the max I placed the order through the drive-through waiting on tenders and chicken while I was waiting. The young redhead girl was spraying cleaning solutions around the food on windows with the bread that heat warmer with the bread as soon as I seen it, I pulled around to the front and get out my car to let the manager know and ask for a refund immediately the cleanest solutions was getting on chicken and she was just spraying everywhere. I let the Manager on duty know and she defended her and said she didn’t get on anything. I said are you serious? I seen the mist from the cleanest solutions getting on food and why is she spraying clean solutions on food items and food while they are still out, And then I asked for a refund she wanted to know why I said because I want my money back. I’m not gonna get any food from here. That is in jeopardy of getting me and my family sick. She didn’t care she didn’t apologize. Both of these individuals needs to be terminated immediately. If you want to get sick continue to eat here. These people do not care the manager, dark hair lady and a young redhead girl needs to be terminated and that’s not my first altercation with that Manager. Zero stars Thank you

Well… butter my biscuits and color me impressed! I am blown away by how amazing the service is at the Golden Chick in Melissa, Texas. Upon first arrival, I was greeted at the drive thru by a kind, warm voice that guided me through the menu. The staff at both of the windows were sweet and also extremely good looking . My food tasted so delicious and filling to my big belly. Thank you Golden employees for making my heart and soul full. I love you ❤️

I arrived at 9:58 PM, and they informed me that they’re closed, but the site says they close at 10 PM. Than once again they want to inform me that they have no chicken, that they ran out of everything. This is a scrappy and unprofessional place and I’d recommend going to Wingstop instead.

This girl at the drive thru gave me a large cup full of ice instead Cherry Pepsi. They do this all the time here but somehow this time it was worse. I feel like I’ve been robbed. Where is the drink? If I pay more for a LARGE drink, why would you fill it to the brim with ice and no drink? I dumped the whole thing in the sink. It was watered down. Training is needed. I’m done with this place and so is our household.

I’ve been coming to this Golden Chick since it opened and have always had great experiences until recently. The last few visits have been disappointing due to poor customer service at the drive-thru window. The young man working there was dismissive, handled items roughly, and made it feel like customers were an inconvenience. Hopefully this can be addressed with better customer service training, as this location has otherwise been solid.

Dinner overall was pretty good. One issue I have is how the dirty rice is being served? Like a ball of rice? Doesn’t look good. Also, Jalepeno poppers were burned or cooked too long, and some poppers were empty like cheese filling was missing. Okara was not cooked thoroughly. I’ve been to other locations, and the overall experience was better. I know you all can provide quality food. The fried catfish was good.

The service was at this restaurant was great. I ordered to dine in. My chicken wings was okay. However it was more crust and skin than meat. To me the chicken needed browning a little more. It wasn’t that tasty. The restroom was clean. The restaurant was clean. The staff was very friendly and kind. I also discovered that there is FREE ice cream and cones for customers. The ice cream was so delicious. I’m definitely going back. The spicy chicken strips were delicious. I recommend that. Overall my experience with Golden Chick was good. I don’t want to forget about the yeast rolls. They’re so delicious. You must order extra.

The chicken is good but dont go thru drive thru. I thought the employees were just dumb but starting to think they intentionally leave items out of drive through orders to shave cost. I have been at least 15 times and they always miss 1 to 2 items. Always charged for them on reciept. I swear off going and then forget after a few months and then get screwed again.
