After volunteering in the morning @ Baylor Scott & White, and before going to a doctor’s appointment, we were looking for a ‘quick, good’ meal.
I recalled a TV commercial from the previous evening ablut Golden Chick Sea Food platter. We generally like GC, so, though we would try it.
Roberto was the order taker (probably also the manager). He was very patient withj my wife & me as we decided which combo to get. We finally decided. took our drink cups and waited for the order. As we waited, I noticed Roberto had AUTOMATICALLY applied the “senior” discount to our ticket; which is HIGHLY unusual. Most eateries hesitate before even applying the discount. Very refreshing.
When we got our orders the food was hot, seasoned properly and tasted wonderful!
We will return to THIS GC in the future!

There’s various reasons Golden chick has edged it’s way to the front of the pack for fast food chicken. I already felt that way before my order today.
They decided to throw in several extra tenders that we didn’t order. The Lucky 13 and lemon pepper wings were cooked well and flavorful. The young lady taking my order was attentive and clarified the few things that needed to be clarified to properly place it. A+, we’ll be back someday.

I came down from Seattle Washington to visit and I ate here twice. The kitchen crew was absolutely amazing! The food was made fresh & the diner/ bathrooms were very clean. Thanks Yojan & Aaron!

I just left this restaurant. I ordered spicy tenders with fries and a lemonade. Tenders weren’t spicy and the lemonade wasnt mixed well. It was just syrup at the bottom and water at the top. Poor quality assurance at this location. I’ve been out of state for a year and just wanted some good ole Golden chick. Avoid this location if you can.

I always wanted to try this restaurant out. The food was just OK, the chicken tasted a little dry, but the catfish was good but very small pieces not worth the money they charge per each piece, perhaps maybe an off day for Golden Chick and would love to try back again some day…

Golden Chick is always good on specials they have them all the time weekly monthly always good to check up on what they got if you want to save a buck or two The fried chicken was fresh I love their chicken and their spicy tenders are good as well not as good as chicken Express but they’re good in their own right.

The worst service ever! It was 2 male cooks and a female working. No one acknowledged me when I arrived. They told me it would be 11 minutes for roasted chicken and for me to ask my customer if she wanted fried thighs instead. She confirmed yes and I them continue to wait another 5 minutes for somebody to acknowledge me so I can let them know that she wanted the fried chicken Then the make cook told me it’ll be another 5 minutes for him to bag everything. Mind you the female employee was on her phone at the window. I took a pic but I didn’t have the option to upload it. After me being there for 10 minutes the male cook came back out and said they only have one though . The worst experience ever I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THE RESTAURANT!
