It was my fault for craving fried chicken. Weighing my options, there was grocery store, GC, P, CE, or KFC… Iykyk. GC was closest, and it had been a significant pass of time since I had visited this location. Now when I roll up to the drive through, a pleasant voice welcomed me and asked if I wanted to try a seafood combo. Hold on, I was craving fried chicken, but this being the first Friday of Lent (not that adhere to the tradition,) I decided to go for 3 catfish combo. There was 1 car ahead, and soon I was paying and collecting my half sweet tea. About a minute later I was asked to pull up since they had to drop the catfish fresh. I pulled up and decided to scroll a couple of IG reels. My though process was, Friday of Lent, order person promoting seafood combo, surely this would not be a long wait. After 10 minutes I determined it was my fault for craving fried chicken and not being closer to a more reputable outlet. When the clock struck 20 minutes after the time stamp on my receipt, a young man approached my window with my order, apologized for the wait, asked me if I wanted something for the wait, and then said he would have to ask the manager, before I even replied I didn’t want anything. After I got home, the catfish was hot and okay, the side salad was okay too. Also, the desire to visit this location has once again been suppressed for another lengthy passage of time.

This is the Best Golden Chick location ever. The food is Great, seasoned well and cooked with perfection. The manager D’Angelo was Awesome. He handled a heavy crown with minimal staff, service all customers with perfection and had a smile the entire time.

D’Angelo should own this location for He cares about the business- Kudos to you DeAngelo!

We usually don’t have a bad experience at this location but tonight was WORST experience I’ve ever had at any fast food chain. The employees inside closed the store over an hour early than what was stated online and in store. We had placed 2 mobile orders at 8:40 ish. The store closes at 10 pm. We didn’t get our food until 9:10 and it wasn’t even correct! They forgot half of our items for each order. We drove back around and tried to let them know but they had turned off the drive thru lights and speaker. We had to drive up to the window and knock to let them know they had made a mistake on our order. The guy heard what we were missing and gave us the complete opposite! I’m pretty sure they were all under the influence, and just lazy. I understand wanting to go home but to close an hour early with no warning, apology or even solution?? I want my money back!

Came here for the drive through during the holiday season at dinner. The line at the drive through seemed long, but cars were moving, albeit very slowly. It ended up taking 30 minutes just to get to the ordering panel…where we were promptly ignored for another 10 minutes. By the time we got up to the window, the person there couldn’t understand how we didn’t have an order, nor did he seem to care. We ended up placing an order with him because we were quite hungry by this point. He then proceeded to tell us to pull up and wait for another 15-20 minutes while other cars behind us were served their food. All because of the store’s own mess-ups.

We finally got our food wherein we arrive home only to find the chicken was very small pieces!! Really small sad pieces of chicken for almost an hour wait and $40 (12 piece meal).

What little positive things I can say was that the coleslaw was good. But the green beans were flavorless and soulless.

PS., I’m sure the owner’s rep will respond to this negative review. To that, I reply that you really should just get your act together rather than feigning that you care and literally doing nothing to improve service or the product.

Amazing Golden Chick location with Great workers and always FRESH FOOD!!!! This is one of my favorite Golden Chick Locations for Food/Service as well!! Ashley is a Great manager and Trudy made my meal today and it was Absolutely PERFECT !! And I Love that they play Christian music for all the guests to enjoy!! I will continue to give them my business every chance I get!! 5 Star G.C.

Omar is a great person and an awesome manager. He definitely goes far and beyond when it comes to customer service and making sure the store he manages is kind to everyone. Fish was golden and chicken was hot off the grease.

The server D’Angelo was so accommodating in spite of a crowded drive thru and lobby. There were only 2 people trying to assist the drive thru and the lobb. D’Angelo and Damarion did an excellent job. They took our orders and had them to us in a timely manner with a smile.

I paid over $10 for the $6 combo ???Waited 20 minutes at the window with 5 cars behind me, watching 2 other cars just leave.
Didn’t get the extra sauce I paid for. Roll was hard and bland. “Gravy” was flavorless and watery. Fries tasted like they had been fried in an apple pie oil. Chicken was tough. One bite and $10 was trashed.
The “best of 2024” stickers on the drive through window have obviously expired!!

Placed an order, got all the way home, and realized half my order was missing. Drove back immediately, only to find it was 9:07 pm and the doors were already locked.

The two employees working at the time—a young lady and a young man—were ducked off in a corner messing around, completely ignoring customers. We literally had to go through the drive-thru and honk just to get someone’s attention at the window.

Unprofessional, careless, and extremely frustrating. If you’re going to close early, at least make sure orders are correct and customers aren’t being ignored. This was a complete waste of time and money.

Do better.
