I recently had lunch at Avenue Bread on Railroad in Bellingham and it was such a great experience! I ordered the Cobb Salad, and it was absolutely delicious—fresh ingredients, generous portions, and full of flavor.
The atmosphere was just as impressive as the food. The inside was clean, welcoming, and had plenty of comfortable seating. The staff were friendly and made me feel right at home, which made the whole visit even better.
This spot is definitely a gem in Bellingham! I’ll be back soon to try more of the menu. Highly recommend Avenue Bread if you’re looking for great food, friendly service, and a relaxed, inviting vibe.

Excellent service at this location, all of the house favorites you would expect from Avenue Bread. In downtown for those who prefer the ambiance. I got the Basic Breakfast, eggenues are great too as always. A+

This cafe is warm, well kept and posseses it’s own vibe. The menu is versatile, the food is fresh and made with care. I ordered gluten free avocado toast and a hot chocolate. Both were perfect for a cold day- the bread was delicious and didn’t taste gluten free at all. The barista was so hospitable, helping me make a selection that accommodated for my dairy and gluten free needs. Thank you all for providing great customer service and warming me up!

Nice Avenue Bread location, and not too busy! I notice between locations, though, that they are not very consistent with the amount of meat they put on the sandwiches, this one oftentimes being more conservative with it but I understand it just comes down to the person putting it together 🙂 The dill pickle spear is always a must

The salad I ordered was absolutely delicious. It had chicken and pumpkin seeds, which are my favorites. I also ordered a lavender and grey tea. Quite tasty
The service was outstanding, and our waiter, Mai, was especially polite and
has excellent customer service skills.
I highly recommend this restaurant.

They have great sandwiches! My favorite is the Avenue Club. This time I went for the Reuben. Nicely toasted and packed with corned beef and sauerkraut and it comes with potato chips. I noticed pickles were available upon request. I’ll have to try that sometime. I’ll be back soon!

When you are always on the road you eat a lot of sandwiches, I mean a lot. Avenue bread has religuously been my go to sandwich spot for years now. Try the Avenue club or the gourmet tuckey on sourdough and included is a bag a chips. The eggunue, their signature breakfast sandwich, is incredible and 2 of those babies will fill you up. The service is fast and easy, oh and you can watch them make your giant sandwich from over the counter. Take these sandwiches to go and continue on your day with a happy belly.

Avenue is an iconic Whatcom County lunch/breakfast spot and they always hit just right! You genuinely can’t go wrong with anything off their menu, and I love that I still feel great after eating there.
Love how easy it is to customize different sandwiches to adapt to dietary needs and everything just tastes SO good. Plus, I feel they’re super affordable and love that you can pickup a loaf of bread or sleeve of english muffins on your way out!
Menu Faves: BLT&T, any of their Eggenue Breakfast Sandwiches, Rosemary Bread/English Muffins, Banh Mi Sandwiches.

I only had a cortado, meh. It was served in a Togo cup, perhaps I didn’t make it clear that I was staying ♂️
The wait time was zero- good. Bread looks good as does their breakfast options.
