Chicken is sometimes great and sometimes not. 4 tenders for $11+tax…
But why do they always forget the sauce at this location (specifically the Lotta-Zing sauce). Always order an extra one and pay for it. Get home and it’s not there. Not the one that comes with the meal or the extra one that was paid for. Yeah one forgets to check before leaving but it’s not hard to put them in the bag. Every tender meal comes with a sauce… Do better.

The Traveler
This place has the best Wings in Yukon OK, or at least for fast food. I like their original, but the spicy is were its at. You can also get the spice on the side, so if you’re sharing with someone who loves it hot, but you don’t. This is also a great option. The wings pull clean off the bone. 180 turn around in quality and service for the best compared to when we visited 3 years ago. They’re now my Go-To!

Someone said this is the best fried chicken in town , I hope not. I expected more from Oklahoma. I was visiting family that moved here last year and one day for lunch I decided to come and get some takeout. I got the Breast and Wing 2 Piece Dinner to go with Dirty Rice and Roll. The menu is pretty good sized and they also have Rotisserie Chicken , not just fried. Chicken Tenders and Chicken Sandwiches also. They have about 10 different sides to choose from.
The chicken was cooked good , but was underwhelming. It was very plain and I did ask for one of the sauces to try , but of course it wasn’t in the bag when I got home. The Dirty Rice was a little stronger taste than most places make theirs. It was okay. The Roll of course was big and fluffy. Definitely pre-packaged , not a freshly made roll or biscuit. Since it was my first time coming to a Golden Chick I looked at the menu for a bit and told the cashier it was my first time and he didn’t try to rush me or be rude. There were no other customer at the time. After I ordered one did come in.
They also do a 10% Discount for Veterans and Civil Servants which I think is great since so many places don’t do it as much as they used to. I really don’t see myself coming to another Golden Chick when I visit my family again. I think their are better choices out there. The price was reasonable , but the food was just too plain for me.

Drive thru was fast and the food was great. The surf and turf with chicken strips and shrimp was great never had shrimp at fast chicken Drive thru before and I think it was the best shrimp I ever had. Try it out . You won’t be disappointed…..

Well this is the last time I order from this location. Golden Chick as a whole is quite good. However, this location is absolutely horrible. Every time we order, the rolls are hard, the chicken is old, the macaroni and cheese is a soggy glob, mashed potatoes and gravy – no gravy, etc. I did get all my items in my order this go around which is a shocker. I lived next to the one on Rockwell and it was always delicious and the order was right every time. Drive the few extra miles for a true Golden Chick experience.

Just don’t. It took me 3 tries to order a kids 2 pc tender. I also ordered a 3 strip spicy with a sweet tea.
All the sides were great, rolls were HARD, chicken wasn’t spicy, both chicken strip meals were hard, dry, cold and well over 45min old. Tea was wrong and my Pepsi was handed to me overflowing. First time coming, last time coming. I got a refund.

I ordered a four piece chicken tender meal with okra. Half regular half spicy strips. I have ordered this exact thing from other locations and my spicy strips were a spicy batter not a seasoning. My okra was over cooked an so hard to even chew. They charge you 50 cents for dipping sauce. The food is way to expensive for it to be less than mediocre.

This food was amazing. The rolls are really good. Hot and sweet. The catfish was so good. It was late and everything was still so fresh. I definitely recommend Golden Chick if you like chicken. The only thing that wasn’t that good was the coleslaw. I don’t eat green beans, I don’t like the taste, but I tried them here and it change my mind. Try this place. You won’t regret it.
