I will start off with saying I am grateful for the golden anchor. I am glad the CG community has a place on base to sit down and eat that has a decent sized menu and that offers a pub like ambiance. That said the food variety could be a bit better. Healthier options like larger salads, vegetable sides, and vegetarian options would be great. I do LOVE the veggie quesadilla. Like please don’t touch that recipe. But it would be nice to have a veggie burger or something else to eat that isn’t deep fried. I feel like staffing has improved which is great. The shuffleboard needs dire attention. More salt and pucks please. Adding some kid food options and kid friendly menus would be great also.

Great place to have a large dinner with friends. You wont find better prices anywhere on island, and the staff has always been super friendly. Base access is required to visit the place. but it can be rented for large events. The banquet hall is huge and many events take place here. It is worth a visit when you can.

We stopped here after sometime spent at sea. It is a very nice E-club with a bunch of historic military pieces. Huge bar with a huge selction of adult beverages.
