Everything you could want in a wine room. Zero pretense. Warm atmosphere. Courteous and knowledgeable service. And most importantly some of the best wines in the valley, at incredibly modest prices. The NYT was not wrong (hard to believe these days, I know) in writing up Iruai’s Shasta-Cascade as something truly special and worth going out of your way to try. Not to mention some fantastic and very thoughtful tasting plates to go along with the ride. (Here’s looking at you, goat cheese fondue and house pickles). 10/10 all the way home.

Jessie was very knowledgeable and friendly. We stopped by on our way to The Camelot for a show. She served our flight and provided good information on the wines we had, plus got us on our way quickly! Very good wines especially the Syrahs. We had to rush but will definitely be back. Great atmosphere and very cozy spot.

Goldback & Iruai wine room was great! We both had sandwiches (chicken curry and a brie with hot honey) and the tasting flight. The wine and food were excellent.
The location itself is comfy and the wine was a nice change of pace from our usual selection. This feels like a perfect addition to Talent and we look forward to coming back.

Just what I was looking for. Super comfortable tasting space for some awesome local wines. The sandwiches and bites are very well done and reasonably priced. The guys behind the counter know their stuff, and are great to talk to. They even have a few non house wines for the wine geeks that want something from out of the area.
