I’ve been visiting Golden Yan regularly for a year now, and it’s easily one of my favorite spots in Prosser! The food is consistently delicious, and my absolute favorite is the Guang Dong Noodle with Chicken and Eggs—so flavorful every time! The lady who runs the place is incredibly sweet, and she always remembers my usual order, which adds such a personal touch to each visit. The restaurant has a charming traditional Chinese vibe with lovely décor that enhances the dining experience. I totally recommend Golden Yan to anyone looking for great Chinese food.

Avoid This Place – Terrible Experience
I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience at Golden Yan was awful from start to finish. The lunch specials were shockingly expensive for what you get, tiny portions of food that tasted terrible. To make things worse, both I and my friend got sick after eating there.
The service was just as bad, rude and inattentive staff who made us feel like we were an inconvenience rather than customers. Given the high prices, low quality, and unpleasant treatment, I would absolutely not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Stay away.

The only good thing about this place was the price and the sweet and sour chicken. The other food was disgusting and the service was terrible. The employees were grumpy and not helpful. Would not recommend ever going here.

Not the best. Had way better. We ordered for take out and did not get our crab puffs. The lady was so confused when giving us our order. The sauces were not labeled so we had no idea what was what and plus the food did not taste good. We ordered S&S, general , and orange chicken. The chicken was the same for all 3. They looked like chicken nuggets I have never seen a Chinese restaurant give chicken nugget looking pieces for the general or orange chicken. my family and I threw just about most of it away sadly. To top it off for 3 meals it was about 65.00. I don’t get how if our meals were no more than 15.00 max. Not sure if my family and I will be eating there again.
