Definitely one of the best pizzas we ever had…we ordered the Meat Lovers – Detroit Style!!!

The pizza seems small but is very filling…we ordered a pizza and garlic parm wings…they were very good as well. It did not come with ranch .

Aldi Parking is tight…but folk don’t stay too long.

They received a million and one pickup orders so you know it’s good. Price was a little high but are in line with other Premium Options.

Would definitely recommend 10 out 10.

This is our go to pizza spot. We will drive in to enjoy this pizza half of it doesn’t make it home ‍♀️ it’s that good. We place an online order and it’s ready in about 18 minutes. We have tried a couple of their pizza toppings. Worth the price in you want a deep dish pizza. Their desserts are great too.

Total chef’s kiss for Gold Tooth Tony’s on North Sheppard.

The Detroit-style pizza is a masterpiece—honestly, every single bite was perfect. The ratio of that cheesy, crunchy-edged dough to the toppings and cheese is exactly where it needs to be. That marinara sauce on top was “perfecto” and paired so well with everything else; it really let the quality of the ingredients shine through flavorfully.

If you’re looking for the perfect crunch and authentic flavor, this is it. 5 stars.

Gold Tooth Tony’s is a Detroit Style Pizza joint in pretty strategic parts of the greater Houston area. This location is nestled in the heart of the trendy Heights District. The location is very well planned out with the appearance of an old auto shop or gas station from the past.

The pizza is exceptional in my opinion, and I’ve tried a wide cross-section of pizza places. Detroit style pizza is thick square pizza cut in four smaller squares, and they also offer the more traditional pie pizza as well both are just as good. I had the Alfredo pizza add pepperoni with a cup of garlic butter which made all the difference if you like dips.

It’s really cool to see smaller businesses like this continue to pop up in Houston, as there was a time in the not so distant past where this was rare, outside of boutique and super fancy shopping centers.

The inside has somewhat limited seating with the kitchen semi-visible, the staff is friendly and jovial seeming to enjoy what they do. It’s sort of dimly lit which is a perfect setting, nobody wants fluorescence to scorch your eyeballs mid conversation.

There is a pretty amazing selection of food even a sweet treats section with four or five choices to choose from.

In closing, this place deserves your patronage so give it a try and see what you think for yourself. You won’t be disappointed!

So I’m half and half on Gold Tooth. The pizza is good and the customer service was welcoming. Loved the deep dish crust. My only issue was the size of the food. I expect to be able to share a $20+ pizza. Instead, they are personal size for $20+ (4 slices) and you get 6 small wings for $12. A dinner for 2 would likely be about $60+, a bit much for pizza and wings without a cute atmosphere. The Shepherd location is small and not really inviting to sit in and eat. More like a carryout. Not worth the price for me but worth a try if you’re craving pizza and have some coins to explore!

I had a craving for Detroit style pizza and decided to give Gold Tooth Tony’s a try. The only size Detroit pizza they have listed is 8″ x 10″. Upon receiving the pizza, I felt it looked a little small. Yeah, I actually broke out a ruler and measured it. It came out to about 6.75″ x 9″. Might not sound like a big difference, but if you do the math, that’s close to 25% size difference.

I actually called the store, and spoke to a young man who told me that sometimes the pizza ends up “smooshed up” getting it out of the pan, and he assured me that it was the same amount of food. I looked at the pizza, and was measuring based on the (intact) edge of the crust.

I don’t know where they got 8×10. It just doesn’t seem like a remotely good value for $25.

I ordered online and was charged 3% for using a credit card. That kind of offends me. When you go to the store, there is a sign on the door that states that they don’t accept cash. So, you have prices listed, and there’s no way to pay those prices? I get that processing credit cards costs money, and $0.75 is not a lot of money to me, but I find it offensive.

For the price, I expected more food, more cheese (having ordered extra cheese), and I expected a nicer location where I might one day want to come sit down to eat. Overall, I don’t see what the hype is about…

First time trying their pepperoni pizza and to be honest it’s overall not bad, but for somewhat reason the pizza was so overly greasy and just looked unappetizing. The box was so soggy of grease and so was the pizza. Disappointed but alright for pizza.
