Best sushi I’ve had in all of Virginia for the 10 years I’ve lived here. I love sushi, have been to Japan, and this tastes as good as what I had overseas. It’s SO fresh! It takes them a little longer than other places to prepare but it’s 100% worth it and the wait attests to the freshness!
The owners are also so friendly, they remember us and have gotten to know us over the years, they’re so sweet it makes me look forward to go every time.

My wife and I love sushi and happened upon this place. This place is an absolute hidden gem! Don’t let it’s location fool you. This is the best sushi we’ve had in a long time! They had a specialty roll called The Golden Scallop. It’s crabmeat and scallops roll with warm crabmeat and scallops on top. It’s just melts and is divine! Everything else was just as good. So good in fact, we just put in an order to take home with us for later! You will not regret dining here! The staff are all family and are kind as can be and will help you pick things out on their like 6 page menu. So many choices!

I had some time to burn between an appointment and came across this restaurant. The staff was really friendly and even helped make some recommendations based on what I like. The delicious ginger salad dressing had me cleaning my salad plate! I got the tuna roll and the tuna was fresh and flavorful. They said they get the salad dressing from Japan, I loved it. Definitely will be back to try some of their other items. Very clean inside too and played nice relaxing music.

Food was absolutely great, I didn’t catch her name but the sweet lady at the register was so nice and accommodating. It was my first time trying a ramen bowl and the recommended the miso bowl. NOT ONLY was it delicious, but it’s a huge portion! I also wanted A particular kind ofsushi which I couldn’t find on the menu so I ended up just asking her and she helped me find it and asked me what I wanted to go in the roll. She was also very attentive and genuinely wanted feedback on the food. Very nice establishment that I will be returning to! I also want to add that as you can see I don’t do many reviews, but the staff and environment was just so comfortable that I felt like I had to write one on top of the food being great. Fully recommend.

This is a great little spot. The sushi is a bit atypical, I believe it’s owned or at least run by a Thai couple, and they put a cultural twist on the menu that I found to be very pleasant. All of the food was excellent, and the menu is diverse and enticing. They also have a diverse selection of bottled drinks that I have rarely seen in the States, and I was very happy to have some tea that I wouldn’t normally get here.
I went during a downtime between normal meal hours and was basically the only one there. The staff was very attentive and friendly.
I will definitely be back and can’t wait to try more of the menu.

I’ve been a longtime loyal customer for many years but never again. Unbeknownst to me until just recently I was, for several weeks, being charged $29.00 over and over again, for food that was never ordered. Unfortunately a lawsuit is underway. Please be sure to check your charges often… the seemingly friendly and caring chef and the exuberant female order taker/cashier/waitress are anything but.

This is THE best sushi restaurant ever. It’s been my family’s go-to for years and we always recommend it to friends in the area or visiting. The food is phenomenal, there’s not a single bad choice on the menu. The service is excellent as well, the staff is amazing and so sweet, and any other sushi restaurant will pale in comparison to gold taste trust me.
