From the get-go walking in here, management is helping the servers, cooks are working together, it wasn’t long after we sat that we were taken care of with drinks even though the lobby was entirely full!

I am sad to see the decline of such a nostalgic eatery. Portion sizes, upkeep, sanitation and ingredient quality all have declined. The cheese is very inconsistent in the amount given, and its quality seems to have declined as well. It tastes much closer to an American than cheddar cheese. The service has been typically slow, with several dirty tables frequently scattered throughout the dining room. My 5-way was served lukewarm and was not very appetizing that way. Chipped rims on every drinking cup, and tattered menus is how you are greeted. There is a lot of room for improvement at this location.

I love goldstar chilly. Cant beat cheese coneys or chili cheese fries. Sometimes I just got to get a 3 way when I go there because its a wonderful meal. But if you have never tried goldstar then your missing out. Definitely hit the next one you see, and I guarantee your a new customer for life.

Took my boyfriend here for our first date. He’s from out of the range of Gold Star, so it was his first time ever having it. He fell in love with the food. Had to take some of the store bought cans of GS Chili home lol.

The food here is usually pretty good. Service is good too but keep in mind if you’re ordering burgers or such, they are made fresh so there will be a small wait.

Got served moldy cheese on my 3 way, took it to the counter and told them. They made me pay for the food that I didn’t even get to eat. I love goldstar but they let me down this time. If you are gonna eat there just check your food first!

In life, there are no second chances, you cant stop time, and there is no substitute for a Gold Star Cheese Coney. Hands down, the best coney you can get! Facility was clean and service was fast and friendly! It’s so good you will clean your plate!

Yesterday I saw six or seven employees and only four doing any semblance of work while the rest stood around with their thumb up their rears watching the others work. Really? They literally hired the sloth from Zootopia to put together orders at that!!! Watched a crave case put in front of her by one of the busiest employees who also filled with buns n’ dogs…then a dine in order was prioritized, which is fine…but that crave case sat unnoticed [directly in front of] the sloth until the very busy employee finally told her to finish what was right in front of her. Come on management.
