Wonderful staff.
Tasty food that also looks delicious.
Fun restaurant/wood cabin vibe.
The food here, although a little more expensive than other options, was very good and presented well on the plate. We were not disappointed at all. We had some desserts that came in larger quantities than expected, but that was a welcome thing!
We were some of the last guests in the restaurant and we weren’t made to rush or anything. The staff were very nice and easy to talk to. They gave us some recommendations on some good local shops to visit.

Had such a good experience here that I had dinner twice here while staying in Steward! No wait to sit down, and attentive wait staff made for a good dinner. The Tuscan Salmon was amazing! The portions were generous and the flavors were wonderful! I highly recommend Gold Rush Bistro!!!!

Initially our plan was to visit another restaurant, but based on yelp reviews we chose this one. We ordered Halibut fish and chips which was excellent with the dip. Another dish was garlic halibut from entree’s that was excellent choice which we made.
The taste of garlic halibut fish with rice was so tasty. Definitely worth to try it. Service was also excellent.

An impressive dining experience. The food was quite decent for such a small town. The menu is great, and the service was high quality. The price is higher than comparable food in Los Angeles or New York, however. So I am rating it in comparison to what I expect at this price point, which is quite a lot. The Waterfront Salad with Halibut was my favorite item. I also really liked the sweet potato fries, which had a perfect crunch to them. The crab was expensive and just about average.

Such a great place! Small, but great atmosphere. We came in as a party of 5 close to closing. We asked if they could seat us. We waited about 15 minutes for another party to finish up, and were seated and served. The Tuscan Salmon was some of the best I’ve ever had! Fantastic char, and seasoning with the rice. Didn’t need anything else. Would highly recommend and these folks are trying to earn business.

The food and atmosphere were quite pleasant. The server was super nice and gave great suggestions. I really enjoyed the seafood Alfredo and thought that they did a terrific job preparing the fish and scallops. The clam chowder here is also phenomenal.

Pretty good food for a tourist town – it’s a pretty simple menu and somewhat pricy but understandable given the location. Burger was your standard burger, nothing special. Halibut tacos were good although not that big. The highlight for me were the fries – perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside with just the right amount of seasoning (fwiw I think the Parmesan garlic upgrade didn’t add much to the fries since they were already great).

They haven’t updated the menu or the price online yet. Everything is noticeably more expensive, but this is the case pretty much everywhere. We had the salmon dinner entree with a creamy sauce. The salmon dinner was out-of-the-world delicious. The creamy sauce was very rich. The salmon was fresh and cooked just right. The sweet potato fries was a perfect appetizer. The whole experience was fantastic. Staff was friendly and food was great. Portion was very generous. I honestly didn’t have any room for dessert after finishing the whole dinner entree. I high recommend this place to anyone visiting Seward.

This bistro made an accommodation for our party and were so kind! The food was delicious – salmon and halibut were cooked perfectly. The chocolate cake was super rich and large. The fish and chips was perfectly moist and the ranch was homemade with a great flavor.
