My wife n I split a 1/2 lb Pastrami Sandwich. They fill the bun with cut to order pastrami and weigh it to be on spot. Fresh veggies and toasted bun. Make sure u ask for garlic butter! Pastrami juicy, tender and flavorful. All the veggies add a nice cool crunch. If u want a slight kick, add jalapenos! Sorry for the pics. I couldn’t wait! Now if ur really hungry, get the 1 lb Pastrami! Service was swift and friendly. Give them a try for a unique twist on the Bahn MI world.

Saw this restaurant on social media and it looked good but expensive. We were in the area so we decided to splurge and give it a try. We got two half pound pastrami Banh Mi with the gold standard option and the brushed garlic butter added. It was absolutely amazing, great flavor, pastrami juicy and tender. Will definitely be back. Not a cheap lunch at $45 for two sandwiches and their homemade chip (worth trying, not too salty) but worth it!

I bet you didn’t know some of the best pastrami is found at this Vietnamese baguette shop in Glendora. Gold banh has a 14 hr tender smoked pastrami that’s stuffed in a garlic baguette and topped with pate, mayo, mustard, and Vietnamese pickled veggies. The combination of flavors is insane and as you can tell, they really load it up. I tried the pastrami on its own and can confirm it was delicious. $16.99 for half pound and $25.99 for the full pound. (I got the full)
If you’re not that big of a big back don’t worry I highly recommend their spring rolls. Theyre sliced and rolled to order. So Light, fresh, and filling and perfect dipped in their house peanut sauce enjoy.

Came here on a Thursday for lunch with some friends at Glendora Public Market to try the viral pastrami banh mi, and it absolutely lived up to the social media hype.
I ordered the 1 lb Tom’s Famous Pastrami in a garlic butter banh mi. The pastrami was incredibly tender, melted in my mouth, and not overly salty. Honestly, I liked it more than Langer’s. While waiting, I saw a tray of crispy pork belly come out of the oven and had to order one of those too. No regrets. The pork belly banh mi was outstanding and better than Banh Mi Hoa Phat in Monterey Park, and on par with Carrot & Daikon in Westminster. They are very generous with the pork belly and do not skimp on the pate or Vietnamese mayo, which makes a huge difference.
Service was quick, and since this is a food hall, there’s plenty of seating and a relaxed vibe. Parking is in a small free lot, but it can get tricky during lunch rush or on weekends, so plan accordingly.
I’ll definitely be back to try the other protein options and drinks, and I’d happily bring friends and family here. This spot is the real deal.

This is an absolute must stop! Located inside the Glendora Public Market, this spot serves a Pastrami Sandwich that I dare say rivals or even beats Canter’s Deli. It is easily the best sandwich I’ve had in years.
They offer half pound and full pound options. I highly recommend going for the full, simply because… why not? It’s packed with flavor and tender. The vibe is Asian fusion meets delicious and the staff was beyond friendly and helpful. Any place putting out this quality of food deserves praise. While I haven’t tried the rest of the menu yet, I’m certain it is fantastic based on the pastrami alone!

Gold Banh is a Vietnamese‑American eatery located in the Glendora Public Market (905 E Arrow Hwy, Ste 106). They serve bánh mì, spring rolls, rice bowls, salads, and also do breakfast‑sandwich style items. The meats (cold-cut, char siu, crispy pork) get praise. Beyond the classic banh mi, they’ve got breakfast sandwiches (“Breakfast Sando”), rice bowls, etc. If you want more than just a sandwich, there are options. Gold Banh takes a familiar Vietnamese sandwich icon and elevates it with care: good bread, well‑seasoned meats, interesting options, and the convenience is a plus.

Please do yourself a damn favor, order the pastrami banh mi with garlic butter. I could finish the entire thing so I shared with my SO, but it was amazing. The banh mi was crispy and the meat was tender and juicy. I’m salivating thinking about it again. There’s a reason why the only line I saw in the market was there. Well worth it, they out their money where their mouth is.

This establishment is in a food plaza with many othe options. The Banh mi pulled me in because of their Instagram page. Unfortunately, the size did not match what is shown so be aware of this. I ordered 2 sandwiches the char su bbq pork and the crispy bell with .regular bread not butter garlic. It was inconsistent. 1 bread was over toasted the other was well toasted. One had too much pate and aioli the other didn’t have enough. The vegetables we’re misportioned on both. The meat shined here. The crispy pork belly shined because it was perfectly crisp and well salted. The bbq pork had great flavor and was soft. This banh mi was better than average but nothing I would drive 45 minutes for again. Service was friendly, prompt and the food came out fast and hot. I wish you the owner best of luck and I encourage locals to try other places in the area.

The pastrami banh mi is a very decadent and rich sandwich. The bread is perfectly toasted and the chicken pate is amazing. You have the option to get both pickled and fresh serrano peppers and the extra mustard spread helps cut the fattiness.
The 1/2 lb version was more than enough meat! While the garlic butter on the bread can be a nice touch, you won’t miss it if you don’t get it. There is enough butter, fat, and flavor in the sandwich itself. Definitely worth grabbing for a cheat/treat day!

The Pastrami banh mi was incredibly delicious. I got the half pound and it was quite filling. The pastrami was extremely tender and flavorful. Pickled Serrano peppers on the side added a nice hit of spice and acidity. The outer part of the bread was crisp, but not hard so it did not cut the top of my mouth when I bit down (other places’ banh mi baguettes are sometimes too hard). I will definitely come back for the pastrami banh mi and I am excited to try their other menu items.
